Bound By The Past

First of all, I have to say that I have waited years for this book. I loved Dante and Valentina relationship. They are so mature, support and love each other above all. Valentina was everything Dante needed, and Dante was everything Valentina deserved. I loved it as well as a couple, they are friends, partners. I loved seeing more of the bibiana and she was finally happy, I loved seeing the children and I'm looking forward to their book. Valentina's father was also a highlight in the book, he's very charismatic and I loved the support he gave to Dante, Valentina and the children, one of my favorite characters. Valentina as always was perfect: sensible, focused, supportive, excellent mother and wife. Being in Dante's head was incredible and just made me love him even more! WHAT MAN!But, I NEED to say what bothered me: Dante suffering the entire book. I knew that he would suffer because of events that we have already seen, but I hoped that these events would alternate with happy moments. But honestly I was agonized by the amount of suffering he had, after helping so many people to be happy. I think he deserved more moments of rest. Its bothered me a lot and I couldn't keep it to myself.And I see a bright future for the outfit if Cora explore this new environment that we were introduced to. I love Anna and this determined character who can help outfit and Anna to have more freedom and stand out.Anyway, Dante and Valentina deserve 5 stars and if I could I would give more, because this couple is incredible. And we had a pleasant surprise at the end ❤️

I loved getting the POV differentiation. I have read all of the books in this series and have loved each of them. That said I did wonder if I really needed to read a book so close to the very first book in the series. The answer was a sound yes! I loved having little details included. It's not that it changed my opinion of the first book in the series. It only enhanced the read. I plan to revisit the entire series one day. This author really has a knack for all things mafia. denise bailey

This is just one of books part of series by Cora Reilly one of the best Mafia series I have read. The characters become so real in each book. The Next series The Camorra Chronicles is next series and you have to read up til Twisted Pride in order to read Bound by the Past it falls right in line behind both series. I couldn’t get enough of this series and there’s still more to come.

I had a problem with the shipping, turns out this book is not allowed in my country, but i didn't get a refund or anything. Although i have read this book online and i loved it. I will always love the bound by blood series by Cora!
