When I first unpacked this umbrella, I could tell that it was very well made. This thing is solid. Definitely built for stability and durability. It is heavy so it took a bit to assemble myself but so worth it. All of the parts fit together perfectly and the assembly was very smooth. Their instructions are fantastic. Detailed, step by step with color illustrations. And the seller was great communicating with me as far as shipping, delivery, and suggestions for assembling it.Rotating and tilting the umbrella is very smooth. You can go 360 degrees and the foot pedal is very easy to use as well as the crank to open it. Since it was heavy, I was concerned my wife would have trouble opening, closing, and positioning it, but no. The balance of the umbrella makes that very easy. And even with a 12-15mph wind, it was solid and didn't blow around at all. Definitely get the base that is made for this. It is sold separately so keep that in mind when purchasing.Great job, Purple Leaf! I would definitely buy another one of these.

I bought this 10 ft umbrella. LOVE IT.Great price, quality fabric. Great wind resistance being that we are at the beach. Easy to open, and very durable. Wind doesn’t seem to affect it much due to the vented top. Chose Navy as it knocks the brightness down. I bought the base with it and it fits nicely in the corner out of the way. And the ‘faux’ wood finish is beautiful. Love looking up at the underside. BEAUTIFUL!

I cannot say enough good things about this product and the seller. I’ll start with the only issue I had: the umbrella assembly slides into a bracket that’s been anchored. Turns out the bracket was malformed and didn’t accept the umbrella. The seller quickly and efficiently determined the problem and sent a new bracket. By FedEX. Fast!! I was very happy with their care and service. Once I was able to get the umbrella installed on the new base I found it to be very well made and smooth operating. Honestly, much better than I had expected. This company sells quality and has very good customer service. Will buy from them again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The umbrella is very well build. It's quite heavy so that is the first sign of not being cheaply made out of inferior materials.There is a lot of customers stating that there is no stand with this umbrella. that is correct! Not even a simple steel cross section included with others. We used out old one that I removed and after re-drilling new hole pattern screw the bottom flange from new umbrella. So, no problem on my end. But I can see others to struggle with this.What they don't tell you is that the umbrella is wrapped on the inside to prevent accidental opening of the umbrella. End you can't see it. So it didn't want to open with the crank. You have to reach blindly inside and rip the wrapping before you can open it!I would give the item 5 stars but lack of the base and the mysterious wrap inside the structure not mentioned screw the rating to 4 stars.Not sure about the crank for rotation. Others we have had the pedal which allowed to turn the umbrella without bending over. Not sure how it's gonna hold in higher winds.

Nice umbrella, but the base is sold separately. Be patient putting it together. When installed, looks great, very easy to operate, 360 degrees rotation, super easy. Worth the money.

Had an issue and they responded quickly. Actually contacted me to see if I was pleased with my purchase . Which I am very happy with this purchase . Well made and great looking. Only issue for me was the base ….took awhile to fill with sand .

We were hesitant at first to purchase this umbrella as it is very expensive. But after researching on the web and reading the reviews this umbrella had we went for it. So glad we did. It was very easy to set up and it works amazing. Very easy to shift where we need it to keep the sun out and it very well constructed. Highly recommend! We have now had for over a month and still working well. Very user friendly as well.
