Easy hack makes it perfect!
I've used one of these for years and it's the best I could ever find. So, when I bought my second one, I did a couple of hacks that makes this the perfect organizer. See the picture. The box has notches for a 3/8 in by 7-in dowel to go from one end to the other. Then I put wide rubber bands around the spools to prevent leader material from becoming loose inside the box and overruns.

Great organizer
One of my boat storage lockers had a bunch of leader reels all over, now they are neatly stored together and you can pull leader while the reels remain inside the storage container. Just one of those things that does exactly what's promised.

Works great for sanding disc organization
Had to add some electric tape to help with dividers, but my sanding discs are now organized and easy to store!

great idea but...
I thought this would be great to keep different fishing line sizes organized in my boat. The reality is the line on the spool starts to unravel and things get messy and dont want to unwind when you pull out line. I use 20#, 30#, 40# and 50# fluorocarbon for leaders.Maybe a thinner line would work better but for me this is just a mess.

Sturdy storage
Over the years, I have amassed quite a selection of rods and reels.I have my favorites, but through out the year, depending on weather, location, water type, most of them eventually get used.Each of my reels are spooled with a different type of line, depending on the type of fishing.I have through trial and error been able to narrow the number of lines down.I have purchased a total of 4 of these line storage boxes, which now house my selection of braids, fluorocarbon, and mono lines.They are very easy to use, and I have each of them labeled with size dots on the front, to make identification quick and easy.I use the small, which fits most spools in the 150-300 yd range.They do have a large available if you use the bigger 500+ spools, or some of the oversized spools like Seagur.For anyone, that has multiple reels and multiple lines, these are a must have.
