Q: Does this go on white or clear?

It has a white tint, but rubs in much more quickly and easily than other mineral sunscreens I have tried.

Q: Is this safe for the reefs?

Not sure, but it is a mineral sunscreen that's hard to apply and leaves a very noticeable white cast. It's also sticky and balls up product. Never buying this ever again.
