Improves tailgate operation
Works as advertised. Installarion was pretty easy. Definitely makes the tailgate open nice and easy instead of almost slamming down. Fit well on my 17 Silverado.

Awesome product and A+ service
I'm very pleased, it was easy to install and works great. The customer service has been fantastic also, I had a very small issue and they sent me out a whole new one even though it was just a problem with one of the little clips AND I was out of the warranty date. A+ service and I would definitely recommend this product from this company.

Tailgate Bracket is too long.
This product does not fit my 2015 GMC 2500HD Denali or line up to be able to use the connecting arm to the tailgate. The bracket is too long, and the hole does not line up for the bolt which will for sure strip the threads if I force it in. I am waiting for a resolution from the seller.UPDATE. Seller recommended for me to make the hole larger by grinding/drilling it out and then this fit. The product works well other than this. I'm happy with the outcome.

Simple upgrade
Easy to install once you figure out how to use the rivet nut tool. The shock seems strong. I’m happy with this one.

Peace of garbage
Terrible. Everything came badly packaged I didn’t take pictures but I should have . I had to make up a way for it to somewhat “fit” on my truck but before I even did that I put it all on fine then when I go to test it the whole SHOCK cracked at the bottom. Then everything proceeded to get STUCK together. Amazon I tried everything to separate the parts but it just would not budge. I would really like my money back I mean I paid 32$ and this was a peace of garbage. I work really hard for my money for this to just go and happen.
