AKG WMS40 Mini Dual Vocal Set - Wireless microphone system (MINI2VOC-US25A/C)

I have given it 5 stars due to its price tag... We should not compare it with high-end wireless systems costing 70-80k or so. Box content: 2x mic and AAA battery 1x receiver 1x power adapter with multiple sockets 1x AKG logo 1x user guide Yes, it has negligible noise. However, it serves my purpose. Most compact dual-mic wireless system. It fits into my audio bag perfectly and I am powering it with a battery. Please refer to the attached images. I am connecting it with zoom F8n. Sound good as of now. Used only for a day... Hopefully, I will post more details after using it more.

I have a huge respect for these mics though .. The build quality of AKG mics is exceptional, offering a sturdy and professional feel. The sound quality is solid, but unfortunately, they tend to pick up unwanted humming and whistling, especially during live performances in environments with less-than-ideal acoustics. These noises can be distracting in real-time. Brands like Shure and Rode have already addressed these issues with more effective solutions, providing better performance in similar conditions. It would be great if AKG had focused more on minimizing these unwanted sounds, as they can detract from the overall live experience

Good quality.... Extremely Recomonded for good singers

Transmitter unit is crudely built. Bad finish, Volume control is poorly built. Did't expect such poor built from AKG

Sound is good and microphone is very light as well yet strong

The mic is not working. I bought it on March end, but I didn't have the 1.5 to 3.5 mm audio converter cable so I had not used the mic till I bought the cable yesterday. I started using the mic yesterday (23rd May) for the 1st time. The sound quality was superb. Suddenly today(24th May) it is not working, the mic is getting stopped in between and there is a continuous hiting sound coming and after sometime mic is stopping to work.

Compact and light but the price is too high.

It's got great Range. Good Performance, needs to be handled carefully.

pros: need a carry around wireless? wanna throw it in a dj bag for when you need it? 8 hours on an AA battery? this is the mic. is it the most durable? no. does it sound like a 1200 dollar beta mic? of course not. but, it will be good enough for 90% of all your mobile/club needs. handheld noise isn’t too bad, and it handles verby spaces pretty well cons: there’s no frequency selection, so if someone else has another you may run in to cross talk. also, it’s trs out and not xlr. also, the little antennae looks like it’d be the easiest part to break so just watch when you pack it away additional pro: they’re not the most durable, but they’re not gonna instantly break. i think a huge pro is you can not have to worry about that person giving a speech doing a mic drop and ruining your qlx or other 1000 dollar plus mic again, this isn’t going to replace a mic for celine dion or anyone like that, but for general announcements or a mic you don’t wan to worry about getting destroyed, this more than does the job and has a good enough sound quality to make it worth the money
