The case fits the travel iron nicely and is very sturdy.

This case is perfect for my new little Sunbeam iron. I'm someone who doesn't like to store things with cords all over the place, and this allows me to tuck the iron away neatly. The case is reasonably prices and sturdy. Pleased with my purchase.

This is an excellent sturdy unit which will definitely protect your travel iron. The quality is top notch. That being said, the whole unit is pretty large, which almost defeats the purpose of having a travel iron. I was surprised at how big it all actually wat. Perhaps a better approach would've been to make it more form fitting around the iron and forego the additional storage space on the lid (though it's admittedly pretty handy).

I love this case (and the iron because you can switch voltages as desired) and it is so compact. The case is hard and able to protect the iron from the rigors associated with traveling on rough terrain.

I saw the dimensions of this case before I bought it, and figured it was the size it needed to be. But as the case and the iron arrived at the same time, I am left wondering why the case is twice the size of the box that the iron came in from Sunbeam. There is absolutely no reason for this case to be this oversized. As a world traveler for many decades, I have never had any luggage handling/jostling issues that might necessitate this level of protection for a mini-iron. Jeez... even when I was traveling with a 35mm camera in my suitcase I never needed to protect it at this level. Sending it back.
