Very nice fork and spoon set for camping or just having utensils while being out and about.
The handles fit and click securely together like a puzzle piece and then when you take them apart you can turn them around and slide and click the handles very securely together end to end, so you have a longer fork and spoon to be able to reach down to get the food out of the bottom of the container that you're eating out of and easily reach the bottom of the peanut butter container. Both the fork and the spoon are 5-3/4ths of an inch long by 3/4ths of an inch wide at the handles and the fork part itself is 1-1/4 inch wide and the spoon part itself is 1-1/2 of an inch wide. Both the fork and the spoon are tapered to become about 1/8th of an inch thick in the middle and it tapers to be less thick at the edges, but these are still quite strong even though they are only about 1/8th of an inch thick at their thickest point, because instead of breaking they slightly flex, but I don't know how far they will flex before they break and hopefully someone will test them to see just how far they will bend before they break, but that's not going to be me to test that. So I will wait for the breaking test hopefully to be shown on youtube. When the spoon and the fork are securely snapped together to make them longer, they become 9-1/8th inches long, which is a pretty good reach to be able to scrape the bottom of the peanut butter container or whatever you're eating out of.To see a tiny review of the GoBites 'uno' on youtube at the end of the video at (12:40) in the video look up, After the Camp - Falling Leaves Overnight AdventureThese will fit great in a Maxpedition Mini Pocket Organizer and these will just barely fit in the Maxpedition Micro. So far I have eaten cheesy lasagna and cheesy eggs and ham and I figured the fork would get cheese stuck to it and be hard to clean off, but nope, it wiped right off without sticking in the slightest. So these are much easier to clean then any utensil that I have ever had and that is very good for when I'm out camping, because it's best to have utensils and other dishes that are super easy to clean.Another great thing about these utensils is that when you attach them together you won't ever go fishing for them in your soup or stew again, because they get long enough that they won't fall and get submerged in your food and if you want to be able to find it easier when you're camping I suggest you get the red ones.

three thumbs up
So far, so great!I was looking for a spoon & fork set to eat in any of the following situations, in order of frequency with which I find myself in each:- When I bring snacks or pack a lunch, and invariably grab a fork when I have yogurt or soup, if I remember to get a utensil at all- So I can avoid disposable utensils when I order something to go, but will not be returning home to eat it- Either of the above when I'm traveling.- Outdoorsy fun, hiking, camping, living out of a truck for 2 months, that kind of thing.I've only used them for about 2 months, so use has been pretty mild up til now, but they seem to be holding up very well, and with humangear's very attractive lifetime warranty, I am not at all worried about their longevity. Though I might refrain from, like, purposely trying to snap them in half or something. Just in case.I like that they slide and snap together, that is real handy. I even nailed down a one-handed maneuver to separate them; it's a strangely fulfilling experience. Day-to-day I keep them in a specific pocket inside my bag along with a cloth napkin, and they live there forever, always at the ready for impromptu picnics. I wash them by hand (I just don't have a dishwasher; I don't think it's necessary, but double check with humangear) whenever I remember, which is never, cuz I'm a enchanting combination of forgetful and disgusting. This darkish blueish grayish is my favorite color, so that was cool. Mine are considerably grayer than the almost-navy blue ones that appear here on Amazon...I suspect there's been some color saturation abuse inflicted on these images, so I would expect a duller version of the ones you see here. I like their shape, pretty nifty design that doesn't remind you too much of lunchbox utensils for kids, which was a concern of mine. They're comfortable to hold and just long enough for the jars that I use instead of tupperware. I appreciate that you can slide them apart, flip the spoon up, and snap it back into place, creating an unstoppable super-utensil powerful enough to reach the cavernous abysses of even the longest of jars, muahaha!! (Like 7.5", 9.5" max if the opening is wide enough. Another reviewer has done the lord's work and provided detailed measurements of the utensils' dimensions.)Anyway, highly recommend. I was shooting for metal, because I try to avoid plastic if I can and because they look nicer (Any recommendations?). But they're probably also heavier? And more expensive as well, I didn't find any as convenient as these. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Good size
Works great - it's long enough to stir prepackaged freeze-dried meals and is light weight.

Compact and handy
I decided to give this spoon-fork combo a try mostly due to not liking backpacking metallic type sporks. I can’t stand the feel of them in my mouth when pulling food of them. It feels like it’s grating my teeth. I don’t know how durable this will be with time but, I’m not worried since I can simply replace it because the cost is very reasonable. It is very lightweight and much more compact than the longer metal ones I have. Also, I believe it would be easier to clean in the bush and not worry with making sure it is completely dry since it’s plastic and won’t rust. Overall I like it and probably will get another one as a backup in case this one breaks.

Ideal for UL with non-stick cookware
I got this instead of a titanium spork so I could cook and eat with it directly out of my ceramic non-stick pot.-Exceptionally durable for plastic.-Appreciate the semi-flattened end of the spoon to scrape the bottom of the pot and food bags.-Only downside Im guessing is that the tabs to snap them together will eventually wear out and be less secure after heavy use.But if that does happen, I'll likely drill tiny hole in the center and insert a piece of wire and twist to keep it from sliding while using in its long form.

A game-changer for outdoor dining
Its ingenious design allows easy eating with its two pieces connected, transforming it into a longer spoon for efficient use. The sturdy build ensures it can handle any meal, and its lightweight and compact nature makes it perfect for backpacking or camping trips. Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to its simple construction. For hikers and adventurers seeking a reliable, space-saving utensil, the GoBites Duo is a must-have addition to their gear collection.
