Good quality and easy to use
This tool is made of a much thicker and more durable plastic than the colored "keys" that came with my house.I bought this because when I bought my new house two years ago, I didn't realize the "keys" they supplied for the faucets were missing one size. I went to clean the aerators on them last month and found out there wasn't one for the bathroom faucets.Looking at Amazon, this and the colored set came up for about the same price. I picked this one because it seemed easier to use, and that was the correct assumption. It's well built and sturdy for when you need a bit of torque to get the aerator out of there.

Still Flimsy
I am torn between three stars and five. Bought this to remove a stuck aerator that had some scale buildup on the threads. I thought it was a little higher quality than the other flimsy plastic tools, but it's just a little less of a flimsy plastic tool than the others. Also, there is a white line under the teeth that indicates they are close to shearing off. Not heavy duty, for sure. It eventually got the job done, but I would say it was pretty close to failure. If my meat sack hands can bring it that close to defeat, I would not recommend it to anyone trying to use it for a real job. It would warp and cam out of the grooves in the faucet, so I had to apply some serious hand pressure to keep it in place.

Does the job. A discussion and rambling.
Works on our various size Kohler faucets. It is surprising that they don’t come with the faucets because you have to have them. That said, I love Kohler. We just replaced an 18 year old faucet valve for free because Kohler has a lifetime warranty. They paid freight and sent a valve for the other handle as well. Unbelievably, they said they did not need proof of purchase because I wouldn’t be asking for a replacement if I didn’t have their valve. Well, while I am off topic, Brondell is the opposite of Kohler. Their bidet toilets are not as well engineered as Toto. Our seat had six cracks within a year and Brondell is a super hassle to deal with on warranty work, and you pay the freight.

Aerator Key: Don't bother
This small plastic "key" fit none of our faucet aerators. earch of the 4 end were just too small.

It fit but would not turn the aerator.
Evidently the aerator on my faucet is too calcified to allow this plastic gadget to break it loose. I think I will look for a metal one that should do the job. The plastic is just not strong enough to do the job.

It works, when the free Moen-supplied tool doesn't
This tool doesn't seem super sturdy and I doubt it would last through many tight aerator removals. But it did actually get the job done, where the free red one that came with our facet failed to work. The red Moen tool was just too small to create enough leverage to free the tightly-stuck aerator. This gray one is wider, not super wide, but wide enough that I could torque it harder and free the stuck aerator. This inset aerator design by Moen is just bad, especially when the aerator gets stuck tightly in place, as it was on ours: Moen 6400BN Eva One-Handle High Arc Bathroom Faucet. The plastic teeth were just breaking off the aerator and the tools, as I tried to remove it.

It works!!!
Worked great for me! I had a delta faucet that wasn’t running very well compared to the faucet next to it. I originally tried using needle nose pliers to unscrew it but was unsuccessful. Used this tool and it cabs right out. I think if you are careful and don’t out too much force on it, the teeth won’t break on you. My faucet was 10 yrs old and had quite a bit of scaling built up on it. I also went around the house and did all 4 faucets with this tool and it worked for all of them. Glad I got it!
