Review: thumbs up Review: This is a well-drawn adventure that I couldn't put down and I wish it was longer than its 46 pages. Lucky Luke, the lonely cowboy that shoots faster than his own shadow, and his smart and funny horse Jolly Jumper stop in Grass Town, USA. Here, rich rancher Mr. Smith is a self-proclaimed Emperor, and everybody plays along, making money out of Smith's delusion. Until a desperado comes along and the town is thrown into a real confusion. A job for Lucky Luke! This was originally published in 1976 in France, so we get a funny European perspective on the Wild West.

Wenig Witz inside.

Une manière sympathique d'apprendre l'Anglais, grâce à des expressions exclusivement orales. Avec le plaisir de lire Lucky Luke en plus.

Another classic Morris/Goscinny tale staring Lucky Luke, his wonderfully witty horse Jolly Jumper, and the usual cast of hilarious characters. Come on Asterix fans, all of you should be buying these Lucky Luke books, translated for the first time into English by Cinebook, they are fantastic. In this story the only sensible person is Luke himself as the rest of the cast are either genuinely crazy or pretending to be deluded, or some appear not to be sure if they are crazy or deluded. It is complete mayhem, and lots of fun
