Wow, this little tool made hulling strawberries a breeze, way better than my other huller made for strawberries. With tomatoes it depends on the ripeness. Ripe tomatoes are a breeze, green or yellowed near the core are a little harder, but with a little effort the tool works. I had to puncture the tomato around the core, then the swooping motion worked. Think of using a melon balling tool, which by the way this would also be good for making tiny balls. I’m very happy with it, but it’s like anything else, apply too much pressure and it may bend. Still, it’s worth the money. A huge time saver and less waste in my opinion.

This is the cheapest per unit out there. The most basic and effective design that does exactly what it was suppose to do. Nothing more nothing less. Some may say it’s flimsy, I would argue that it’s strong enough for its purpose. It is so light that it will probably never break when it is dropped. If you manage to crush it by accidental, well, you have 11 more to go. Tips. Place the coreer flat on the stem of strawberry/tomato. Press on it directly with the thumb you are holding the fruit with. Simultaneously slide the handle sideways just a bit then scoop out the core. Forget about the fancy ones. This is the only one you will use, highly recommended
