Love the ideas in this book -- beautiful patterns! If you are looking for "step-by-step" detailed instructions for each botanical element, this will not be for you, as it contains very few of those kinds of basic beginner instructions. However, if you are like me who has developed more drawing skills and can now figure out the line-by-line steps intuitively, but are just looking for more and more patterns and motif ideas to inspire you, then I think you will really like this book.

Have really enjoyed this book. Great examples of doodle type florals, been using to make inserts for hand made journals, note cards and tags. Inspiring and fun.

Rather than being a coloring book, this book gives examples of various patterns that are "zentangle"-like.I'm finding it helpful to use.

At first when I received the book it looked a bit thin. However it is full of wonderful samples and practice pages. I love it.

Very fun book - gave some basic principles on how to create fun, floral doodles. I've used the ideas in several ways to craft handmade cards.

This book really helped me feel more confident about creating my own little flourishes here and there in my other coloring books and even creating a few designs of my own. I recognize the author from her Zentangle books and enjoy the way she teaches skills in pictures. I'd highly recommend this book if you want to learn to embellish or even do simple illustrations on your own.
