pros 1.very exhaustive almost all most imp topics covered in detail 2.must have reference for phd or advanced post graduates 3 .well explained and detailing is too good. i used to take up online lectures while i didn understand few concepts even after net search. this book solved it for me cons 1.grayscale version

This is a must book if you want to learn machine learning to it's depth. I am doing Andrew ng online course and assignments on machine learning and I can surely say that this book is helping me a lot.

Suggestion to SpringerThe comment is not on the contents of the book but on THE SPRINGER INDIA EDITION. The book uses color extensively to explain the figures and charts but the Springer India edition is a low cost BLACk & WHITE printing. which makes following the text extremely hard.PLEASE Do NOT buy the Springer Black & White edition

Though the content of this book are great and this book is like bible on machine learning but India edition printing is horrible. It makes this book unreadable. I feel sorry to give 3 starts but we don't deserve substandard, ultra thin paper, almost like photocopy print!

Book got poor binding. I started reading only for the past 1 week and the first set of pages have started coming off loosely. Even the margins are so close that the book is not fit enough to read comfortably.
