Genuine Leather Zipper Key Chain Holder Wallet #212CF

I bought this for 2 reasons: First, I almost lost a key when my open ended key case released a key hook unexpectedly. Second, I wanted to store my key fob and ignition key separately in the pockets, rather than on the hooks with the other keys. Reason is my car ignition lock suddenly froze on me one day: the lock wouldn't turn. Tried jiggling the steering wheel, no dice. Comes to find out that if you use your ignition key with all your other keys hanging from the ignition lock, you could damage the lock. So now I only have the car key and fob in the lock while I'm driving. I ordered the tan, but it is different from the picture in that the lining is not a matching tan color, it is a brown color. Doesn't matter to me, but it may matter to you. As for the hooks, there does seem to be some variance in quality control: on one hook the locking notch at the end of the hook is just a nub. It still locks, but it is a failure waiting to happen. So overall I love the security of the zipper, but not the quality of the key hooks.

I received this item today and I wish I had never purchased it! when I opened the item I noticed a few scuff marks on the outside. It almost looked used. I can deal with a couple of scuffs but when I opened it I was quite surprised to see that the entire inside was TRASHED! It was torn in the fold like it was an old piece of torn up wet cardboard. No. Cardboard would have been better. I don't know if I got a used one or if this is just the cheapest piece of . . . . , that I have ever bought. I wish there was a way of posting the pics that I took so I could post them so that nobody else had to spend their hard earned money with this seller. I don't know if there is any recourse I can take. But I am certainly going to try.

I had a similar item with dual zippered compartments that had served me well for years, and I was excited to see this product offered in December. I've now had less than three months, and it is performing so poorly I'll have to replace it.The first flaw was that the latches for the key holders kept opening, risking loss of the key. Well, I liked the overall design so I resorted to glue (did not work) and tape to keep the latches shut, which worked adequately. However, a few days ago the zipper to the key compartment broke, seriously compromising the case. I'm now putting a rubber band around it.I have trouble understanding why a manufacturer would go cheap on the zipper and the latches when the overall design is great. I enjoyed it before it fell apart.I would not recommend this product to anyone unless your life expectancy was less than three months and you had a handy supply of tape.

This is my second one. What I like about it is that it can hold my smart key for both the cars I have owned and it holds all the keys I need for work. Mine lasted over a year before needing a new one. The other one still slightly worked but some of key holders fell off because of use. For the most part I don't use my keys so this works perfectly for me. Another thing I do is use a small snack ziplock bag to place my smart key in then in this for extra water resistance.

I'm a Key Chain/Coin purse expert. I've been using them for over 20 years. This is one of the best I've used so far, but like every other one I've tried the key clip portion is cheap metal and will break, or break down after about 12 to 18 months. I'd pay three times this much for a solid leather one with better key clips. But nobody makes that yet, so I'll have to keep buying this one.I actually bought two and the first one's zipper failed after two days. So there is an issue with the cheap zippers too.

Keys fall out. I have to be real careful. I push the latch shut as hard as I can and watch the keys every time I take it out of my pocket and the keys still fall out. The latches are junk, but the rest of the case is high quality. I just can't give it more than one star with these key latches being so bad.

STOP SELLING THIS CRAP!!! The price for this product is TOTALLY DISPROPORTIONATE to the quality of the merchandise advertised. I'd equate this product to a child receiving a plastic diamond ring from a bubble gum machine, believing it to be the real thing! The company that makes this knows they don't have to worry about it being sent back because it's not worth the trouble. JUST ONE MORE CHEAP PRODUCT FROM CHINA!!

The leather on the inside with the keys is not nearly thick enough to stand up to having keys pressed against it. One would expect a key holder to be able to withstand keys. I'm a bit dissapointed there. The other part is not suitable for holding coins as I had originally hoped. Oh well. It holds buisness cards...
