After 2 seasons of use....easy to navigate, great bluetooth connection, plenty of power.
About the only negative I will mention is that the connection lines are kinda light gauge, probably <14g. It has a 10amp fuse and I'd say the wire would melt before the fuse would blow unfortunately. Why be so cheap on the connection wire when the rest of the package seems quite adequate? How much could the next size or two up actually cost extra? Otherwise, it's a reasonably priced unit for a 19ft Yamaha SX192. Display is easy to read and operation is pretty straightforward. If any quirks comes along I'll update. Can't talk of longevity, but here's to hoping. One star off for the light gauge connection wires.UPDATE - after two summer seasons of usage this unit is working VERY well. It pumps enough RMS to feed stock JBL 6 1/2" speakers x 4 on a 2015 Yamaha SX192. Completely satisfied as the OEM Clarion, if available, would be >$200, and IT only lasted 3 seasons before giving up the ghost. Although the wiring, as previously mentioned, is somewhat a light gauge, it's still providing adequate "bump" to the speakers so I cannot complain. Bluetooth connection is stable to Android, cannot comment on Apple connections. There's NOTHING to dislike at the $100 price point. Bumping up my rating to 5 stars!!!!

Great sound
ok so install was a little tough without the exact same wiring harness. But still not bad. We were pleasantly surprised how good it sounds in our boat. Great upgrade from our old radio with no bluetooth connectivity

So far so good
Quality marine stereo. Installation was easy. Sounds great. Pairing a phone via bluetooth was easy. Brightness is good. Easy to read screen. The only thing I don't like is the UI. The menu system is not intuitive. It's fine once you figure it out, but it's an odd combination of button presses to get to the menu item you want.

POS POS POS!!
Sony claims this is the replacement to the DSX-M50BT however they fail to call out that the pre amps are now only two channel with the previous other 2 channels being stereo pre amp out for a sub!Who in their right mind would want a two channel head unit with a stereo sub pre out!!Sony claims not false advertisement when it’s not called out that they went back to 1960 and only have 2 pre outs…. Who would expect any pre out head unit to be only 2 channel??The fact that Sony would even produce this POS, and then claim it’s a direct replacement for the DSX-M50BT is just complete BS!! So what you’re supposed to just use a couple Y connectors? How’s that 4 channel separation? To top it off this is a marine head unit, if anyone has installed marine stereos they know it’s not exactly easy to just run new wires, so using the amp side is not an option nor what the system is set up to use…Was hung up on by Sony national support because they could not answer any questions and claim it’s not false advertising…. It’s stupid and whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired.2 channels and a sub… I’m thinking whoever has only 2 channels isn’t going to have a sub….I was hoping by calling support that through the UI there would be a way to have the stereo sub frequencies changed to full band and use as the two other channels, but they said no…Stay away from this, it’s a waste of money, unless of course you have 2 speakers and a sub.

Perfect head unit for a motorcycle.
The media could not be loaded. I used this head unit for a fairing sound system install on my motorcycle. I needed something that was weatherproof and had a nice easy to read display and large buttons that I could press easily wearing gloves whilst riding. This ticked everything I needed, plus it was priced very well. All the buttons and the volume knob feel high quality. I've had it in a few rain storms and it hasn't missed a beat.Even over bluetooth the audio is crisp and clear.Would recommend.

Doesn't work well for motorcycles
Radio works great but can't be installed on a motorcycle, only have had it for 8ish months and it does werid electronic things and will change brightness or disconnect or change the clock randomly
