Do i have to have a pbx system for this or can i hook it up to use for my home office?

We don't, only the 9300 series. We do have a 2 line phone on our site www.allzsales.com. It can be a home or business phone but doesn't have all the features of a Nortel. Try searching "home office business phone" and see what comes up, too.

Does this phone come with all of the cables (headset, cord, plug)?

Unless stated, standard new/refurb would have base/phone/handset/line cord/handset cord...so complete...this phone is a digital phone, it would need a Nortel/Avaya "switch" to provide power...it is a two line Phone for a BCM/Option switch, will NOT work in a "wall outlet"
