I ordered this backup calve for my polaris and put it on today. It's no good. It just continuously sprays . Polaris is not working now. Now I have to go to the pool store and buy one that actually works. Complete waste of time and money. Will never order these online again!!!

Excellent description of the necessary part to include make model designation. Full clarity that what was offered eas the complete assembly mot a kit. All parts are connected by hose nipple screw connections making removal and replacement simple requiring maybe five minutes. The only note is to ensure the valve assembly is correctly installed for water direction. The ine end towards the Polarus unit is clearly imprinted with an arrow indicator.My existing equipment was working sporadically then simply stopped dead on pool floor. I checked the pool wall dusconnect and associated line filter verifying water flow then durected attention to the backflow device and found the top assembly had cracked / torn above the O ring assembly. Changed it out with the replacement part and problem solved. Working like new. Saved some $$$ in this fix comoared to local pool supply store.

I bought this after seeing the price in a local pool store. This was half as much. The part has worked well. The on,y reason I’m. It giving 5 stars is that it hasn’t been long enough to see if the part is durable.

I ordered this to replace my cracked backup valve and it works perfectly. Easy to install. Sometimes these valves just wear out but cracking is a bigger issue. This is crack resistant and so I'm hoping it last longer than other brands I've tried.

This unit failed after 2 weeks. The outer plastic cracked in half. Also the unit did not ever effectively 'thrust backwards" for reposition of the Polaris.

I’ve been using this daily for 4 months and wanted to wait to write a review. It’s performed better than the original so far. It appears to have a little more power and now my cleaner doesn’t get stuck on my stairs. Original one lasted 4 years so I’ll keep this updated if this one fails to meet longevity expectations.

Our local pool store wanted over $100 for this part, although to be fair, it was a Polaris-branded part. Just hooked up this one up and it’s working great! Saved us so much money!

This Polaris backup valve was identical both outside and inside to the OEM part but cost about 1/3 as much. I'm delighted.

Stuck in reverse mode - the same as others. Total waste of time and money. Raised issue with seller and they just responded that ‘our products are fine’ and closed the issue. No attempt whatsoever to properly resolve

I connected this and it’s continuously in back up mode. The polaris never actually gets to work as it should.Product is defective
