Q: What siphon do you use for water changes? The opening into the water chamber is quite small with the "fill tab" in the way.

I just take the whole cover off (leaving the plants in the holder) and dump the water and refill. Then I put the cover with the plants in it back on.

Great starter kit for someone new to hydroponics

Very good as a starter hydroponic system and runs pretty quiet. I added some airstones to it and it even has a ready made hole for the tubing!
