Review: Almost - Not quite new. Quite a dent in the back. Creased the spine a bit. Not bad, just not "New" condition. More a problem with the seller, I guess. The book and series are 300% perfect.

Rat Queens isn't over...yet!
Not my favorite volume so far. I am not a fan of the art change on #22 and later. It is still adequate just not my cup of tea. Storywise I enjoyed the #21 but the rest were focused on the Void and evil Hannah my least favorite storyline. Looks like the end is coming this year though. I am nostalgiac for the early rat queens now and I think I will do a reread now.

can't get enough!
I love everything about this series! The characters, plotline, swear words, world building, atmosphere of the stories. So fabulous. So delish! I wish there was more!

Losing my interest, but only one more volume to go...
Rat Queens was at first a fun, high-energy series with fine writing and nice artwork. Both writing and art have been deteriorating. In this eighth volume, the artwork ranges from good to rather poor; for example, the cute little smidgen Betty looks more like a troll doll than her usual vivacious self! Yet certain frames of some pages are actually rather good; there doesn't seem to be a happy medium. At the end of the book we find out that there will be one more volume of the ladies' adventures; that is the only reason I will stick with this title. Hope springs eternal...

Eeeeh
It doesn't feel the same with previous rat queens... it felt horribly disjointed and really didn't flow well with the story. It was a struggle to get through and just really random to me. The characters did not act like they did in previous volumes and just crude.

Not nearly as good as the others
Loved every volume of Rat Queens up til this one. Story and artwork in this one are much weaker than the rest. A bit disappointing.

Book showed up mangled
This book arrived mangled, but it is a graphic novel, by the time I get all the stuff together, find time to drive clear across town to return a mangled 15$ graphic novel and ship it back, I am out like twice that in sunk cost. This is infuriating.
