Cut and applied these to the front and rear of the grip on an original Browning HP that I had professionally highly customized, but had neglected to get stippled. This product made a huge difference in how much better the grip fit in my hand and feels much more comfortable and secure.

Just received this and immediately applied it to my extended magazines, support hand thumb rest area, and even the pinky rest area on my standard magazines. It transformed my pistol into something I have much more confidence in controlling and performing follow up shots. I shoot a 10mm compact XDM Elite and the grip texture is was too slippery for the power of a 10mm round. Without even shooting the pistol, my grip is now secure and firm. The texture of the granulate version is just like sand paper. This may not be good for appendix or IWB carry as it will irritate the skin and will snag clothing easily. However, for application to the extended magazine ends and adding a few patches to critical areas on the pistol frame and maybe the front and rear straps of the grip, I think this grip texture works very well. I absolutely recommend that you heat the tape before applying ( you’ll notice that the tape becomes “floppy” when it’s heated enough before applying), then after applying, heat the tape again and press firmly on all areas to really seat the adhesive and tape to your pistol gear. Repeat the heating process another 2x and it will be perfect. No need for a hair dryer or heat gun, which is often recommended. I just used the heat of my gas stove to warm everything to the temperature of very warm but not hot. Just remember to make sure the firearms are completely unloaded and safe.

Cuts to size and perfect fit was easy and Installed in seconds and grips super tight with a little heat from a hair blower dryer. I installed this about a year ago and still like the day I installed it. Highly recommend this product for anything you want to increase the tactile grip. Hint: just slightly round the corners (just no sharp corners) of the pieces you cut and they’ll not peel away.

I bought one sheet for use on both my PC mouse (I like my mouse but sometimes would lack a comfy grip based on it's shape and my grip style when gaming) as well as my HK P30L. I'd used a grip tape on my P30 before, but it was far too rough and sandpapery. I don't like to use gloves as I lose dexterity when shooting and it makes me feel slower and clumsier when going for speed. So my hands felt like raw hamburger after just a few dozen rounds fired and I'm unwilling to build up the calluses required to tolerate my old tape. After applying the Talon tape to my mouse as a test scenario before applying it to my pistol I knew it was what I wanted. It has a great mushy, almost rubbery/leathery feel to it and even with my sweatiest gaming session never had my mouse slip. I then applied some to my most used interchangeable ergonomic plates on my P30 (anyone familiar with this firearm will know what I mean) as well as the finger grooves and it felt fantastic. This was the grip tape I had wanted all along and never knew what I was missing. I shoot so much faster and more comfortably now and never deal with the raw palms and fingers anymore. I highly recommend following the instructions for applying the tape. I had applied it to my mouse first and noticed it didn't adhere or form to the contours as well as I wanted and used my heat gun to finish it and that made all the difference. Great tape, I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

I've had good luck using these to make my own custom designed adhesive grips. As long as the surface is clean and properly prepped it will durably adhere lasting years. They really enhance the ability to control a formerly smooth surface. Before I start cutting the grip sheet I use painters tape or paper packing tape to create templates until I settle on a solution for the design. I warp the tape onto the intended surface and sketch a design on it, then I carefully peal the tape in one piece. Next I take the time to go back and forth making more tape templates if necessary to modify the design to eventually get a flat transferable pattern. The more time invested in this step the better the final application will turn out. I found it helps to avoid creating sharp points and small intricate shapes with edges that can get caught on things and get pulled up. It's fun but a little frustrating that you only get one sheet for ten bucks.

Very good but pricy item. However, how do you really put a price on better control and handling when dealing with your “implement”… adheres very well.. very sticky but doesn’t mess up clothing. Very grippy.. good quality item.
