Excellent Product used with Motar for Brick work

The product was ok and as describe. The 4 stars is because the product comes a 2 pieces, the grout bag itself and a metal tip. For the life of me, I could not figure out if the metal tip went outside the bag or inside the bag. I tried it both ways and then without the tip at all. I still do not know where it goes. If I need YouTube to figure out how to assemble a grout bag the you lose a star.

Good quality ,works well

Mortar bags were well-constructed, strong for multiple uses, and very easy to clean. Entire kit was well worth the price. The "however" is that I bought them to fill the spaces between 8" X 2.5"H pavers. Used straight mortar & water; no sand added. Needed a small opening for flow. Had to make mixture almost like water to flow thru opening + had to rig up a way to stop the flow when moving to another paver. Smaller opening constantly clogged up and made it tough to get the flow going again. Tried a larger opening with thicker mortar and ended up wasting 60% of the mortar put down.

Product is exactly as expected and appears to be of good quality. Wanted to address the multiple reviews stating that grout would not flow through these. There is nothing out of the ordinary about these bags and there should be no issues with flow. You need to make a seal at the back end of the bag(squeeze the air out and roll the empty end of it down to the product is a great way) and apply pressure to force the grout out; It's not going to be really hard to squeeze out but it's not going to be really easy either. I will update this review if I find any issues with quality

What I do is use the metal tips inside the bag After adjust the tip The bag last a very long time Save me time and money by lasting longer than rubber tips so I don’t have to stop and change the bag after half day using

I should have heeded the other 1-star reviews. I mixed type S mortar exactly to specification, let it sit for 10 minutes and restirred it, then added it to the applicator bag. Nothing came out with high levels of force applied. With enormous amounts of force, liquid dripped out of the steel tip. My only guess is that you need to overwater the mortar to the point that it will have lost much of its strength properties when cured. Finished the job the old fashioned way.
