Works well and is top quality when it comes to build quality. Very sensitive so can make accurate identification of a live cable difficult if in close proximity to other live wires. The torch is really handy and the low voltage detection can be useful when doing automotive or marine work. Also having a high IP rating makes it perfect for demanding site use.

Really good weight and feel to this, love the fact that it has an in built torch too.

Bought one of these in the past and they had everything right, only issue I had was the battery life drains a bit quickly but that's just a given with the torch being built in. Lost it recently and bought a bought a replacement. What I don't understand is why the tester now vibrates to let you know you've turned the thing on, it already sounds and lights up. Given it's used to work in proximity to electricity this is downright distracting and potentially dangerous and will drain the battery even quicker than normal and there is no way to shut the motor off permanently. As they say, if it's not broken, don't fix it!
