Does the job and looks complete - I researched a lot
I lookt at a lot of YouTube videos and I was scared at first. There are 2-3 really good ones which will tell you what to use. This kit comes in a very hard travel case and seems to have all the tools you want. Re-usable lense tissues, a brush, a little squeeze-blower, the swaps and the liquid (it comes with liquid, not just the bottle). You everything you need and I managed to clean 2 big smudges off my sensor.

Having changed the lens on my Sony A7C Full Frame camera, I noticed that I had inadvertently allowed some dust to settle on my exposed sensor. This of course resulted in a visible dark spot appearing on all my photos and video. Once I realised what had happened I removed my lens and without thinking I blew onto the sensor in the hope that it would remove the dust particle. I was horrified to immediately notice that I had produced a tiny piece of 'spit' that had landed onto my sensor - hmm, I knew that I was likely in trouble. I hoped the droplet would just evaporate and be gone but this was not entirely the case, instead of being 'gone' it had left a small spec of deposit in its place. The dark mark on photographs remained. Cleaning the very expensive full frame sensor seemed like a bad idea, but unfortunately I had little choice as the foreign body had to be removed or cleaned somehow. I searched Amazon for a product and found the UES DSLR Sensor and Lens Cleaning Kit which upon arrival I found to be a rather decent bit of kit. I firstly tried the obvious things such as the camera auto-clean function, then used the good little rocket blower that is included with the kit - the mark remained so had I had to mechanically remove the problem using the swab and cleaning fluid method. The swabs are supplied in a completely sealed, one use packet. This was unpacked and with one single squirt from the included cleaning solution onto the swab I gently moved it from one side of the sensor to the other, then turned it 180 degrees and took one more pass. Initially the mark on the sensor remained but was visibly reduced (the swab technique was working) - to be on the safe side I then unpacked another swab and repeated the process with the same gentle movement across the sensor, one way then another. The spec was now very much reduced but it took a third swab to completely remove the mark. Overall result, very happy indeed. All photos are now without the dark patch that was visible before swabbing. The swabs seem great quality and the kit as a whole has a lot of items to help keep the camera clear of dust and greasy marks. I liked that the cleaning solution appeared to leave zero trace of 'water marks' across the sensor, the swabs are nice and soft and left no trace at all of any particle in its wake. The rocket blower is really soft and seems to give a good blast of concentrated air (though in my 'extreme' case it was unsuitable to remove the spec/deposit). What I didn't like so much was that the cleaning solution is provided with a 'press to spray' nozzle, this made it difficult to aim the spray to the edge of the swab and instead just issued all over the whole thing, handle and all. Perhaps a fine drip feed might be more suitable such as a pipette to accurately place the solution onto the swab? Never the less, even with the difficulty of aiming the sprayer of the cleaner - the results were great. 100% problem fixed and the cost of the kit was very reasonable. As a side note, I found the best way to check the sensor was to load something such as Notepad on the computer and display a completely blank white screen. I then took a series of photographs at minimum aperture (F22 on my camera/lens setup) and closely examined the resulting photo for evidence of dark marks. If the PC screen is not so clean then as the photo is exposing, move the camera around a bit at the same time as taking the photograph - in this way any marks on the computer screen will not be visible (blurred out) but will still leave any mark showing due to a foreign body on the camera sensor (as the spec/dust is unaffected by the image from the lens as it is sitting right on top of the sensor - so all you need to produce is a very plain white image from which you will see any dark area caused from a sensor issue). One last point is to buy the kit with the correct size swabs, in my case my camera is Full Frame, but observe the format of your camera and purchase the kit option accordingly. Happy customer, will purchase again when required.
