I like them
My pair 11.5 are a tight fit with any socks except the very thinest, they are very comfortable and feel like moccasins that won’t fall off. I’d buy a pair in the future but get a 1/2 to full size larger.

Comfortable for barefoot show lovers
I have been using Marrell Trail Glove shoes for last 6 years. I wear them daily (in city, or nature while I am hiking) and these are the only shoes that I have. These are great choice for anyone looking for comfort, performance, and a minimalist feel. The fit is snug but not restrictive, with just enough room in the toe box to let your toes splay naturally. It is lightweight and breathable.Highly recommended!

Trail Glove vs. Vapor Glove
I liked the Merrill’s Vapor Gloves for the three months I used them; however, after a month or so of use, I’ve confirmed that their Trail Gloves provide me with the support and cushioning I need to avoid injury. Although I have a high arch, the Trail Glove arch support is prominent—if you have flatter arches, I would be wary. After wearing the Vapor Gloves for three months, the Trail Glove’s arch was noticeably present each time I put the shoes on (after several minutes in the shoe, the arch feels normal and I forget about it). I wear an 11.5 and ordered the Trail Gloves in that size, even though some have said that they run large, which may be the case, since I do have plenty of room in front of my big toe, and the arch support seems to make contact with my foot more toward the front of my arch than the middle. Using the innovative lacing system, I’ve discovered that I can dial in a closer fit for the Trail Glove’s uppers vs. the Vapor Glove’s. The section over the big toe on the Trails is less rigid than that on the Vapors; however, I haven’t noticed that it’s made a difference (I also haven’t dropped anything on my foot or stubbed my toe). In the Vapors, I felt every little pebble through the sole, to the point where I would often stumble or react from some sharp pain. For me, the Trail Gloves have the perfect amount of sole cushioning—I can feel the pebbles but it’s never painful. Walking on pavement for too long in the Vapors caused some pain on the outside of my foot, where it makes contact with the ground; walking on pavement with the Trails has not been an issue. The area around the ankle is more substantial on the Trails than on the Vapors. I would have preferred that the Trail Glove had as wide a toe box as the Vapor Glove—my pinky toes seem too close to the outside of the shoe. Other than that, these shoes have been great off road as well as on city streets, and I look forward to continuing to wear them daily.

Arch is a little too far forward. Weird.
I bought several pairs of 4s, which finally wore out to a homeless adjacent level. I’ve tried every generation since and the arch was always the thing that sent them back. These feel strange every time I put them on but I get used to it after a while.Still a better value & set of compromises than everything else I’ve tried. So… a load of old shoes in the bin, but I don’t like these enough to buy a bunch. Hoping for a better fit next version TBH.

Brand used to be equivalent to high quality
Merrell's have always been a family favorite, but "something" is off with them recently. After purchasing our latest pair and wearing them occasionally for 1 month, my husband noticed fraying of the material on the side of each toe box of the shoe (and it wasn't from rubbing the shoes together when walking), as well as the material separating from the sole of the shoe near the heel. Merrell is better than this! We were grateful to have received a new pair from Amazon, however, if we observe the same downgrade of quality again, we will have to investigate a new brand of shoe.

LOW Dorsum only
I like the Merrell brand, I have some boots that are wonderful. these Trail Glove 6 shoes are very hard to get on, hard to slide the dorsum (the top of your foot) Into the shoe even fully unlaced and they are narrow. true to length size. they have lacing straps stitched directly to the tongue which restrict the size of the foot that will fit inside. i am debating a return of these, buying from "pictures only" is a problem. did not realize the soles where so gray, huge contrast, not really evident from the Pics.

Narrow
The shoes were smaller than expected and narrow. Very narrow. I should probably mention they were narrow, some might say very narrow. Couldn’t get a foot in to check the feel. They were narrow. The large toe box does no good if they are too narrow to get to the toe box. They were a nice looking shoe, just narrow.
