High quality , last forever sandal!
Chacos are just great! I have tried other less expensive copy cat brands but they just dissapoint. These are made well and hold up for YEARS. My last pair was 10 years old before the bottom finally split. I wear them everyday for everything I do in the spring and summer months. I have also been know to put socks on and wear them into the fall in Wisconsin. They offer great support, wonderful hiking sandals, perfect for biking and are also good water shoes. HIGHLY recommend these and will never bother buying other brands again. They are comfortable right out of the box with NO break in period. LOVE how the straps pull out on the front and sides so if you have wide feet, the straps dont cut into your skin. Never get a blister wearing these. They dress up well also.

Attractive and Supportive
Theses sandals are super supportive and hard insoled, just what my particular feet demand. They are comfortable right out of the box. I wore these for a day and, immediately, bought a second pair. I hope Amazon will forever stock them! True to size, highly recommend if you require serious support.

Comfortable shoes for the very picky or sensitive foot
Chacos Work really well for me. I’m short with somewhat wide feet, low ankles, sensitive skin, bad hips, arthritis and fibromyalgia. I buy a full size smaller than my running shoe size and they are just big enough. I have two pair: all black and tie dye. These are great for vacations, walking, errands, etc. but the black pair can almost pass as sandals you could wear with nice clothes. I don’t do heels anymore so that is helpful. Walking ability:I can walk for miles on these without blisters, unlike most other shoes.

Comfortable & colorful
I’ve been wearing chacos for years, so I know they can be a bit tricky to adjust, but they are a great sandal for people with bunions. I have a pair of custom Z2s that are probably over 10 years old, plus 2 other pairs of z1 clouds that I absolutely love. I bought these because they were tie dye and they were only 50 bucks! They fit the same as the z1 clouds, however these like to tighten as I walk. Because of this, I wear them a little more loose like I do with my z2s. Even with this issue, they are still a pretty darn comfortable pair of sandals.

The most comfortable, versitale shoe I own
I have had my Chacos for about a month now, and let me tell you, best purchase ever! They have been through a lot these last few weeks; camping, hiking, vacation, and so much more. As an avid birkenstock lover I was skeptical that these were going to live up to the hype of the Chaco name. Although I still cherish my Birkenstocks I have officially converted to Chacos and here's why:- Waterproof! I can wear them in the ocean on vacation to protect myself from sharp rocks. They are also so perfect for camping since you can simply rinse them off in a campsite sink or shower if they get muddy.- Support, these shoes have terrific support with minimal bulk. I have knee issues, and these have a perfect support but can still be packed without taking up too much room.-So cute! I get constant compliments on both my Chacos and the Chaco tan that comes with wearing them every day.- Extremely versatile, I can wear these everywhere. Hiking has been so much more enjoyable since they truly stick on your foot and move with you.MY #1 TIP:The reason these don't get five stars all around is due to the initial pain of getting them set up. THE STRAPS ARE ALL CONNECTED! They go through the sole! So simply pull on them going from the top down, and you can adjust every single strap. This was a game changer since they will be highly uncomfortable if you don't adjust them to fit your needs. I feel like this isn't talked about enough and can cause people to really hate them without proper education.

The Best
I had never worn chaos. But, I have Plantar Fasciitis and was going to the beach for half of July. A friend who also has a foot issue told me to buy these. I'm SOOOO glad I did. I wore these every day and my foot never hurt! I'm a 7.5 but bought an 8 first. Then, repurchased in a 7. Perfect fit! My friend who recommended these bought my 8, lol! Great arch support, quality and comfort. Straps adjust perfectly to fit. Definitely worth every penny. And, the color is sooo pretty... goes with everything!

The Best!!!
Extremely comfortable from Day 1. Once I followed the instructions on how to tighten and loosen the straps, they were wonderful. I chose not to go up a size or change width (even though it was suggested). I’m glad I remained with my usual size. Purchased these for the first time before a trip to Asia. They were the only shoes I wore the entire time. No slipping. No blisters. I was nervous about the heel height, but they feel extremely stable. I will only purchase this sandal from now on.

Comfortable but still not cute
I ordered these to try out for an upcoming trip to Europe where I expect to be doing a lot of city walking. I will bring gym shoes too, but wanted a sturdy sandal for anything near water or if it's especially hot. I have tried Chaco Z2s in the past, but hated how the toe strap pushed my big toe down while the rest of my toes were pulling up on the relatively heavy show when lifting my foot off the ground. These Z1s were MUCH better in that way - though still quite heavy for a sandal, the placement of the straps isn't awkwardly impacting my gate. Speaking of the straps, something I love about Chacos is how adjustable they are - this is great for feet of all sizes and widths! And with the durable sole, I have no concerns about my feet hurting after a lot of walking. They are unfortunately still one of the uglier shoes on the market, in my opinion, and that doesn't seem to get better despite the color you select (though I'll add the muted clay color is true to the photos). Ultimately, they're a sturdy, good quality utilitarian shoe and worth having a pair for summer adventures. Vs Teva and Keen, they feel much more solid and have way better arch support, which is important to me.
