This is a very nice mineral sunscreen.One of the main things that I struggle with when I put on facial sunscreen is that it burns the heck out of my eyes and leaves them bloodshot! I switched to this one from the aveeno protect hydrate 60 spf hoping that I would not have that same issue. This sunscreen does not burn my eyes! Even when I am washing it off at the end of the day, it does not burn which is great! So if you are looking for a sunscreen that does not burn your eyes, this is it! As far as coverage goes, it does leave a white cast upon application but after a few minutes of rubbing it in, it blends in well with the skin. The sunscreen has a very runny consistency, so it is easy to spread. It gives your face a shiny look that can look oily, but I don't mind that. So far, I have not seen any new blemishes from using this sunscreen. My skin feels smooth. I have only been using this sunscreen for about a week so it could change. I think the only off-putting thing about it is the smell. It smells kind of like glue or playdough. It's not super overpowering but you definitely get a whiff of it every so often throughout the day. Other than that, this sunscreen is great! Definitely recommend!

Terrific sunscreen and blue light protection for the face. This product works well protecting my face when I am outside in the middle of the day. No sunburn! Small enough container to carry around and reapply every 2 hours to keep the sun from burning the face. It is creamy and easy to put on the face. Once applied it sinks into the skin with no greasy residue, but still gives a dewy fresh appearance on the face. Definitely a great product.

I’ve pitched this product several times. Live in a warm climate so I use sunscreen frequently. We also boat and are on the beach a lot and it protects me all day being out in the sun. Other sunscreen products have made me breakout in a rash but not this. I have never gotten a sunburn when I use this and I don’t need to reapply. It works for hours even if I’ve been in the water or sweating. The other great thing is that it is safe for the coral reefs so when I’m in the ocean I’m not putting harmful chemicals in the water. The only con is it does make your skin a little white while wet at first but that doesn’t bother me. I’ve had skin cancer already and would rather have my sunscreen make me a little white over getting more skin cancer.

I liked this product because it does the job- mineral sun protection without a white caste, BUT I use this daily and my skin is for sure greasy looking from start to finish. When I use a powder foundation on top of it, it definitely helps but still leaves a heavy feel. The plus side is that I have acne prone skin, and this sunscreen hasn't broken me out. So I guess it is non-comedegenic, or at least doesn't clog pores to the point of break outs!

This is an amazing face sun screen. I switched to face specific ones a bit ago as I found that my regular stuff would cause irritation a few hours later around my eyes. My other stuff is also blue lizard sensitive skin stuff, but I think that the stuff would just irritate the eyes a bit after it started to shed off. But to help against that, I tried the Blue Lizard 30 SFP face and it felt great, but it often didn't have enough protection on my natural pale skin native to redheads. So I upgraded to their 50SPF and it works amazingly well. You can still get a sunburn with 50spf but that is under hours under the sun verse the hour and a half I was getting with the 30. I am now back to using my hat during the 10a-2p time frames and when hanging out in our yard after 3pm as we loose our shade. Blue Lizard has been a godsend for me though as they offer the most consistently well made mineral sunscreen that doesn't irritate my skin in general... except maybe the eyes if I don't wash my face off later. It is also super easy to apply and it is super thin compared to the regular sensitive 50 spf.

This works well but is not ideal if you want to wear under makeup. It has a very oily consistency. Price is good.

Love it, it meets all my dermatologist’s requirements. And it meets all my requirements, It leaves my skin hydrated instead of chalky like most mineral sunscreens. It doesn’t make my face or eyes burn ( I have super sensitive skin ) I do shake it thoroughly before every use. Now I am very fair skinned, whitest in my family, so this sunscreen doesn’t leave any white cast on me, but I cannot speak for anyone who is darker than me on whether or not it would leave a white or grey cast. But it works for me and it was exactly what I was looking for!

As someone who is a POC, this is one of the only mineral sunscreens I’ve found that easily blends into my skin and doesn’t leave a white cast. I’ve also found that overtime as I continue to use this sunscreen my hyperpigmentation marks have become less dark.

Very little white cast on darker skin tones. The white cast will “melt” into your skin after an hour of wear. Very good for those who need a mineral sunscreen but are worried about white cast due to highly delaminated skin tones
