I was really excited about this item and it works perfectly if you use all of the compartments. I didn’t look at the images well enough, because I was ordering it in hopes that I could use the compartments all together or individually, but you cannot so that. It must be used as a whole. It is extremely esthetic and clean looking and washes amazing. It is NOT totally leak proof though. And the cutlery that comes with it, isn’t the greatest. But overall I’m happy with it, and will be using it often.

For the price this has been the best lunch container I have found. The storage capacity is large enough for two people making it ideal for a picnic lunch. It has not leaked at all and I have had liquid type foods such as melon and fruit in it. It is surprisingly compact and fits together well. My only complaint is that the bottom level does not stack on the other levels. The trays stack and fit together with the top edge flared and the bottom edge tapered to fit inside the lower tray. The problem is the bottom tray is not tapered on the bottom so if you are eating in the car you can't have a single stack of trays. I've been using this for work for nearly 1 week now and I'm loving it! Such a clever lunch box, 2 separate layers and another little lid on top where you keep your cutlery, it's so well thought out! I especially love that I can make little compartments to keep my fruits and vegetables apart. So I keep my pasta in one layer, and my snacks in the other, then the stretchy straps keep it all together tight and secure. The carrier also has a thermal lining inside so it keeps your lunch nice and cool and fresh! Very nice and very attractive.

Rewriting this review because my first one wasn’t accepted? Are they just not accepting honest, low star reviews? Doesn’t seem right. I love the green box, it arrived faster than the pink one, it’s arrive intact (the pink one was broken in several areas). Pink one didn’t even have bubble wrap around it & every piece was apart. I ordered them together & the experiences were very different. I don’t recommend getting the pink. It also didn’t come with a spacer thing like the green.

Disappointed in this purchase. The bento box is so cute and the perfect size for my lunch however this item is NOT LEAKPROOF and will leak all over you and your bag. Doesn’t matter if it’s salad dressing, sauce, or just liquids from you food.By lunchtime my food was no longer hot, so this is not insulated and does not hold heat well.Also, the main container is easy to clean the but the 2 smaller ones have grooves on the bottom and will need a scrub brush to clean any residue. Soaking is a must, otherwise you’ll be using a toothbrush to clean everything.Really bummed out by this. I was so excited.

I was a little disappointed in the utensils it comes with. I purchased it for the sole purpose of having one side being chopsticks. In my opinion, the color is off shade pink. Functionality wise, its amazing but I just think they should be more specific on what you will be receiving. As I was going back through customer photos it seems some individuals received the same bento I did, while others received the one I was expecting. Don’t get me wrong I still like it but I am a little disappointed if I am being truthful.

After rewriting my review. My a husband does like it. It has alot of space...3 levels for slot of food. I cut his sandwich in half to for nicely in level one. Level two I pack grapes and cheese using divider. 3 rd level I put his dessert. A table talk pie. Cut in half to fit.

leak proof is only for the bottom level.the other two are better with non-liquid stuff.overall good looking, nice size. nice texture.
