I’ve always liked Cross pens, so I bought this refill in great confidence that it would be high quality. It constantly skips, stops writing altogether, and has to be scribbled on scratch paper to get it to work every few words. I thought it must just be a fluke so I called Cross customer service and they sent me a replacement. Same exact problems with that one as well. I will never buy another Cross product. Buyer beware!

I am an avid writer, and I was excited to try the Cross Slim Ballpoint Pen Refill. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating. Every time I start writing, the pen struggles to produce ink and I have to make several attempts before it starts flowing consistently. This issue significantly hampers the writing experience.

This cartridge is prefect for those who keep their cross pens in their pockets and have had multiple "bleeding" incidents ruining shirts and pants alike. For the on the move cross pen user, this is a great product and writes very well. Easy to replace and a solid deal for the craftsmanship.I recommend this insert. And unfortunately no, I wasn't given a freebie, I bought this because my cross gel insert was destroying my clothing.

I have used cross pens and genuine cross refills for over thirty years.The genuine refills write smoothly and never stop until the ink is finish this is the first cross pen refill I have used in all these years bought from you that does not flow properly, it writes and stops, and I have to constantly scratch on scrap paper to restart the refill to continue writing.If this is a genuine refill I want to believe it's a manufactures defect. I never experience this with a cross pen refill.
