DogtraYS600 Rechargeable Waterproof High-Output No Bark Collar

I just started using it and it has worked great. I will be buying another one for one of my other pups. I can recommend this. The only thing is the charging light as with my training collars when charging the light is red then when done it turns green. With this one it doesnt do that. flashes green and then when charged no light at all. I am guessing this is normal as it helps with the barking.

Simple. East to use and fit. Charging is quick and results after 3 days.

When we got it it was working fine without any issues but now only after a few month of use it started malfunctioning. we tried testing the collar but it did nothing so I thought maybe the lower settings didn’t do much, so I move the dial to 5 same thing, nothing happened. I finally move it to 10 keeping a very close eye on my barker it didn’t do anything. I took it off and put it to charge the whole night thinking this might solve the problem. Next day I put it back on my dog and she seemed fine and it looks like the collar is finally working, then all of the sudden it just goes off without any noise/barking or any other dogs around. She yelped in pain at a setting of 4 I lowered to a 2 thinking maybe the mic/bark sensor was being over sensitive to sound. It did go off again without any reason. I finally took it off and have not had my girl wear her collar. She needs correction but only when she does bark but not just because a faulty sensor. Now it’s too late to return I guess that was almost $100.00 dollars wasted.

I'm a return Dogtra customer for the last 25yrs. New collars, support, & maintenance, they are the go to brand for training collars in my opinion! This is just another great collar for my tool kit!

It works very well for our hound dog that likes to bark at our chickens and neighbors, unfortunately giving 4 stars because we had the same one but unfortunately it only lasted exactly 13 months. One month after warranty ended it permanently died on me.

I have a Bluetick Coonhound that I love to hear sing, but my neighbors, not so much. If you're not familiar with coonhounds, they howl, loudly. This collar is powerful and I only need to set it to around 3 or 4 to keep her quiet and max is 10. It will zap the life of your dog, so start at the lowest setting and work your way up, not the other way around. I also like that it has a light to indicate when it's fully charged.

Easy set up. Effective use for training. My dog responded promptly to the correction.

[Update: Jan 2023]: This collar does work well. He doesn't bark with it on. But, it has had a few false triggers that shocked him when he didn't do anything. I'm bumping my review down to 3 stars because of that. We usually don't put the collar on him because we don't trust it. When it shocks him, even on the lowest setting, it's enough to make him shriek. I really don't like it when it happens when he hasn't done anything wrong, and it makes him extremely anxious.[Original Review] This works great. Our dog was barking non-stop and he very quickly learned to stop. It only zapped him once or twice before he learned. However, I will note: this thing seems to be much stronger than our older corrective collar. Our older collar has settings from 1-15, and he wouldn't even notice unless we had it on 11+. This collar has settings from 1-10, and I don't need to put it up past 1. I definitely recommend that you start on the lowest settings for your dog, even if you are used to how your dog responds to other collars. Work your way up until your dog responds because this thing seems to be stronger than other collars.Also, I wish this had a remote control so it could work as a bark collar and also a training collar. But that's really my only complaint.
