Q: I don't understand the measurements. My truck bed is 6 foot 4 inches. so do I order the 6.5 size?

The way it fits the truck bed, it should overlap the front lip of the bed and rest on top of the tailgate. As long as that measures 6.5 ft or more you should be fine. Mine over hangs the front by about an inch and rest about 1 1/2" back on the tailgate.

this is copied from a section of consumer reports, discussing whether tailgate up or down, or Tono cover has any effect on gas mileage :Consumer reports: We found that adding a tonneau cover or lowering the tailgate hurt fuel economy, rather than helped it. With the tailgate up and no tonneau, we got 22.3 mpg. Dropping the tailgate decreased efficiency to 21.5 mpg. That 4-percent difference means that driving the Ram all year exclusively on the highway could cost the owner an extra 20 gallons of gasoline.

It will fit if you mean by spray-in bed liner.

Yes it keeps it dry. It even kept it dry when i used the pressure washer on it.
