FLEX Foaming Cleanser – Plant-Based and pH-Balanced Feminine Wash for Silicone Period Cups, Discs and Your Body (3.4 oz.)

The cleanser doesn’t have a strong smell, it’s relatively neutral and I’m able to travel with the bottle on airplanes with no problem. It cleans well for both cups and discs and I prefer this foaming cleanser compared to a gel cleanser.

It cleans the cup, but if your looking for an unscented product this isnt it. Personally it didnt cause any irritation, but when washing the cup you can smell the scent. Its floral like a lot of feminine hygiene products tend to go. Its listed in the ingredients. I want to say though, dont be intimated by the scent like I was at first. It truly is great at washing and oder control.Pros it works, cleans cup, and it really does get rid of the blood smell the cup can have. Like it really cuts out any smell.Cons its scented if that is an issue for you

I bought this particular cup wash because the one I previously had is a gel in a squeeze tube and the stopper on the lid broke off in the hole where the product dispenses. Can I screw off the whole cap to dispense it? Yes? Is that pretty inconvenient while holding a wet, slightly bloody cup in one hand? Also yes. So I went shopping around for different brands and found this one. Honestly, I’m just mad I didn’t know that they made foaming cup washes sooner. This one works great! Super easy to dispense and I don’t have to try to work a gel into a lather, which cuts down on the time I could possibly be dripping blood onto my bathroom floor. It doesn’t really have much of a scent, which is nice because the residue is basically going inside my body. I will definitely be buying this one from now on.

I really like this stuff. It lasted me a long time as well which is nice! My only issue is it's a bit messy. The lid got a bit gunky after a few uses. Nothing that taking a few moments to clean up with a clean cloth can't fix, but I thought it was worth mentioning. This was nicest to use at home, it was just a bit clunky and messy if I needed to take it to work or on the go for any reason. No skin irritation though and it seemed to work thoroughly which is the main goal!

I absolutely love this cleanser. I use it for my Flex reusable disc, and together they have totally upgraded my period experience, and therefore my life. The foam and the disc are both incredibly soft to the point of feeling luxurious — and it made me realize that all of my past 30+ years of period products were all harsh, rough, scratchy, with loud crackly-sounding plastic wrappers and hard, cold plastic tubes or stems. Nothing was warm, welcoming, soft, or in any way luxurious until I found these Flex products. They’ve made this time of month so much easier and less stressful.I tried the Saalt brand wash too, and was so disgusted by it that I actually shipped it back to Amazon. That one has a gross mineral/metallic smell that smelled too much like the stuff I’m washing off my disc…it made me want to gag. The Flex wash is mild, citrusy, and pleasant. It’s perfect.Update Nov 2022: I just tried the new Neroli & Rosemary scent. The original scent is much better. The new one smells more masculine.
