Top quality, made in India, shatterproof
This is an Excellent product. The packaging (not important to baking) is top quality. Even the guarantee card is printed to world-class standards. We are Proud that this product is made in India by an Indian company. For too long, we have relied on glass bakeware from Europe, in spite of their reduced quality (search yt for pyrex exploding) and we can't possibly risk using bakeware products from China since those are loaded with chemicals. Using quality borosilicate products for baking is the way baking should be done - without all the chemicals from nonstick and from aluminium bakeware leaching into your food. Even the carbon-steel is a coating process that leaves chemicals into our food. We've baked cakes at 200 degrees with excellent results. I request my fellow Indians to consider spending a bit more and buy glass products that are made in India and that will be good for your children's and your family's long term health. Don't succumb to cheaper Chinese made nonstick products. There is always a price for cheap products - they are dangerous. Note to the bakers: this tray isn't very deep. I've just received the bread baking tray from Borosil based on my experience with this product. I shall post a review on that after I've used it a few times.
