Not good if it rains or is windy
I am an avid camper and in my opinion this tent is ok for indoor use only. Bought a year ago as a backup tent and opened but didn't look at closely. Just used it last week in the Everglades FL. The first thing I noticed was the fly is very thin material, unlike my 10 yr old Field and Stream. While carefully inspecting the fly I noticed a small tear, although it was carefully opened . The winds picked up during our visit and unfortunately I faced the opening into the wind. It is really noisy. Drove to the Keys and had a big rainstorm. Although I was behind a 4 ft fence to help protect from the wind, the floor was soaked after the rain. I felt if coming through the fly in many areas and the fly does not cover the front well and the rain comes in the screen on the side. When I zipped the tent the cloth around the zipper stretched and nearly pulled the seam apart. The poles and stakes are very cheaply made and the zipper does not appear to be very good quality. After one use I decided to buy a new, good quality tent. I would not buy another Kelty based on this.

Not a real Kelty product
"Ridgeway by Kelty" is not made by Kelty. Kelty licensed their name out to the cheap outdoor gear manufacturer Wenzel. They sell a lot of product via Costco, WalMart, Target, etc., often under names like Coleman and Kelty and possibly other reputable brands. I've used one of Wenzel's "Kelty" tents and one of their "Coleman" inflatable sleeping pads, and both products failed miserably.

5 day camp out, 3 days driving rain, tent dry every night, great tent
Had 5 day camp out in 3 days of driving rain. With the rain fly on snug the tent was dry every night. We had constant 20-30 mph winds with furious gusts some during the rain and some without rain. The tent held up with no problems. I was very surprised to say the least. How can you have a complaint with a tent like this.
