Delicious, relaxing tea with quality
I really like this brand and the ingredients in this specific flavor. It’s a nice way to get myself relaxed for sleep. The bags are good quality and doesn’t leak out any leaves. The string and tab make it easy to extract the bag when ready without having to fish it out of the hot water. I appreciate that quality and rich flavor. I think it’s the licorice that makes it taste a little sweet.

A nightly ritual
I've been drinking Yogi Bedtime tea on an almost nightly basis since at least 2008. It helps me calm down from a stressful or eventful day and settle down to sleep. The flavor is very balanced and slightly earthy, with a very slightly sweet taste from stevia that carries through as a very subtle undertone. You think, "Hmmm, tastes much better than chamomile alone, maybe a bit of mint? Is that a little sweet note? I wonder what that is?" Drinking a cup of Bedtime tea has become a nightly ritual that I share with my 2 daughters, who need that as a cue to wind down and prepare for going to bed. They've really come to enjoy that special time we spend together at the end of the day. That could apply to *any* tea, but this one is really special. I had it on subscription for a while, and then all of a sudden, there was no Bedtime Tea available in the US. Some kind of a supply problem with Yogi, I'm guessing, because No One had any. So we tried about 8 other brands of tea, trying to find an acceptable substitute for this one. I went on to all sorts of tea review sites and read the hipsters all say how horrible this is. I tried what they recommended, and the brands they liked tasted like swill to us, and didn't help us get sleepy. So each to her own. Tea is a very personal preference and you'll just have to try it and see if it's something you like, but I can attest to the fact that it does help you get sleepy. Also, you can't beat the price Amazon offers, compared to the supermarket price per box. If this is the kind of thing you drink on a daily basis, getting a carton makes sense. We go through the whole carton of 6 boxes in about a month for 3 people. It contains a very low dose of St. John's wort, so people who are taking medications need to be aware of that, and people allergic to chamomile should not use it either.

Love this flavor from this brand! (Edit: Can it go bad?)
I love the flavor of this tea and recently started mixing different tea brands/flavors. I use more than one bag but also have a large insulated cup that lasts all night. I like this tea and the brand. Always check that the ingredients are okay for you if you take supplements or have any conditions or take medications. Just because it's natural doesn't mean it's always good for you! I've had no issues with this tea flavor but like to make sure people know that. Edit: I stopped drinking hot tea for the hottest summer months, and recently started drinking hot tea again. I was excited to go back to this tea, for help with sleep and because I loved the flavor. The boxes I opened were sealed, the bags were sealed, they were stored in a good temperature room and haven't expired. For some reason, they smell off to me. Thinking it was just in my head, I drink some anyway. The flavor doesn't seem the same as it used to. The first box of this pack that I used before the summer was being mixed with other flavors/brands of tea. I don't know if my sense of smell changed or if it's the tea. It still tastes OK but something seems different about it. It does still help me relax, though, and since sleep is hard for me I will buy a box at a store and see if it has the same off-putting scent. I'll check reviews and see if anyone else notices a difference. For those who are upset about the decrease of valerian and increase of passionflower, try sleepytime celestial seasonings sleep teas. You can combine a bag or 2 of each also. I add the sleepytime sinus soother to this often because I like the flavor. :)
