E-Z-GUTTER GUARD EZ-Shield-10 Gutter Guard, Black

I’ve had these installed for a year now. No muss no fuss. Haven’t had to go and clean the gutters out at all. Been so much easier on me and my family.

The fluctuating price made ordering a little weird but installation went smoothly …even at the top of a 24’ ladder!… :oI had to work around my gutter bolts …which almost made this product unusable… but used a red sharpie and tin snips (metal scissors) to easily mark and cut lines on each side and fold the cut piece underneath. The cutting didn’t have to be exact and, by the time I got them in, the custom notches made each E-Z-Gutter Guard fit perfectly and very securely. I was also able to easily mark and cut the last piece on each section of gutter to match the length.We’ll see how the fall & winter go, but I’m super pleased and confident in them doing the job (even with all the oak trees around my house)! Plus they look great!!

I like these. They seem to be quite loose on my 5" gutters though. Fortunately my roofing overhangs the gutters quite a bit. There are a few issues that you need to decide on for ANY gutter covers:-My roofing overhangs the gutter by 1/3 + of the gutter. As such, these are difficult to get in stalled.I used a self tapping screw to hold each section down tight due to looseness.-I live in the woods and chose this product because I want to be able to sweep off the roof once a year. These arch up and dont sit low in the gutter. I'm hoping that will allow me to sweep debris off.Other products will not allow that from my research. So for me, this product gets a ++-BEWARE: I had the 'foam like' gutter filler prior, it works, but debris lays on top of the foam and grows into it! You cant sweep it off so you have to "clean your gutters" anyway!

Product works well to keep debris out of gutter. Works fairly well in rain. Snow will freeze on it causing water to flow over it as if there were no gutter. I wouldn't recommend this product for climates with snow or freezing rain

If you have a perfect gutter installation and the shingles stop at the front edge of the flashing, then it should snap in as pictured. If the shingles overhang the flashing and your gutter installation is not perfect you will need tin snips nitrile gloves and a lot of patience to "trim-to-fit" at corners especially. Straight runs are pretty easy. I had to slide the guard under the shingles, then snap into the front edge of the gutter. The flashing upper edge is simply not consistent enough to snap the rear gutter guard under. Some experimentation most likely will be needed. P.S. I have new 5" metal gutter and a new roof. Buy the long nose tin snips.

design is better than most gutter guards out there.leaves and acorns would get caught behind and in between the guard to roof area, but not on these.or lay in top of mesh type guards and get caught in the mesh, but not on these.water gets to trickle down into gutter so my rain barrels get filled too.

you need to compensate for overlap of an inch or 2 for each section. product should be manufactured at 51 inches as most gutter clips are installed at 48 to 50 inches apart and the gutter clip is the only means of support. they should come with support clips and screws as they are very light and will blow away in a big wind

I ordered based on the assumption that I could bend to fit the gutter opening. But that didn't work out for me and I had to return. If this does fit in your gutter it may work well for you. My rating is based on the fact that it is bit hard to bend and fit with the tools I had. But the concept is good as it is really hard to find a good gutter guard that will handle pine needles.
