A great idea - I hope they work!
After losing hundreds of dollars worth of new plants to the gophers, I'm trying these metal nets to stop gophers before the reach the plant roots. They are easy to use, and look tough enough to annoy a hungry gopher. I once saw these at a major "depot" hardware store, but now they seem only available here on line. I'll update this review in about six months after I can see if they do save my new plants.

it actually works!!
i cant say enough about these little mesh envelopes..they saved my rose garden...gophers are smart. they found the one rose i forgot to dig up and stuff into the mesh bag..i will be using these bags for veggies next spring..caster oil didn't work ...chili oil ...nope..save your garden buy the mesh bags.
