CMWX450 4-1/2 in. X-Lock Carbide Multi-Wheel

Cutting ability: I am a welder and we needed to cut through a bunch of wood cladding to get back to a metal door frame to do our job. I didn't want to have to remove all the cladding, or buy a new saw just for this job, so decided to try this for my angle grinder. It worked perfectly! I have no idea why they don't make more saw blades for grinders, but this really came in handy. Definitely recommend for any small woodcutting jobs where you don't need a purpose-built saw.

Excellent blade - I used it to cut through a fiberglass shower pan (to remove it) and through some cement board. Cut through the fiberglass like it was butter. The X-lock is a nice touch - it's nice being able to pop the blade on or off with just a lever. Fit my Bosch angle grinder perfectly (as it should). Very affordable and easy to use.

My first experience of these blades was one that came with my Bosch 12v 3in cutoff tool. Found it super useful and subsequently bought this one for my 5in grinder. Makes the grinder so much more useful. I now use it for breaking down pallets, cutting plastic pipe, assorted disassembly jobs. Things I used to use the recip saw for and battle with the vibration I now just reach for the grinder and it goes through it like a hot knife through butter. Has been a great addition, highly recommended

These are great for cutting wood studs and trim etc faster than a multi oscillating tool. When remodeling I sometimes use both when other saws can not access the cut. Sometimes you might do the bulk of the cut with this blade and finish with a multi tool that can plunge cut right into a corner but at a much slower speed. Note the labels on these are on the reverse side compared to Makita X Lock blades so don't worry they will fit if you reverse them.

This thing is pretty awesome, really good for cutting wood, also comes in handy for a lot of other things, cutting pvc etc. I used this to cut back an entire subfloor perimeter in my bathroom and laundry room before it burnt out right at the end. I used it to get the new subfloor tight as possible to the walls, it’s much easier to get a nice strait cut tight to the wall as a opposed to a sawzall. Surprising amount of use from one blade I will definitely be buying more
