I was unsure on the sizing, but I went through almost all the reviews and decided to try a Medium. It seemed like most people who had the mediums worked out well, and I don’t have an abnormally large or small head lol! I wear approx. a size 7 in hat sizes. I was definitely prepared to return/replace for a smaller or larger size, but thankfully, the medium was PERFECT! I also tried to use the measurements as listed, but ultimately I just winged it! The dial-fit system is great for adjusting to get a snug fit, and I don’t have to use the flip-fold system either, so I can’t comment on how well that works or doesn’t. It’s just an all-around great fit! It’s comfortable, light-weight, and even though it’s the winter, it breathes well while riding. I’m hoping that during the summer months it’ll keep my head cool! This is my first riding helmet I’ve owned since I was a kid (no joke), and I’m extremely happy with the purchase. I bought my kids the Ovation helmets which are good as well, but I’ve heard the Troxels are pretty top-notch. You pay a little more for them but it’s well worth the little extra! Overall, extremely happy with this purchase!

I needed a new helmet. It had to have a brim and be as comfortable as my old one. I did a lot of trying on at local tack shops but they were all overly-large or used a fit mechanism that was uncomfortable or difficult to manage. This little beauty fits great, the interior is soft and padded and the fit is superb. No dials or hinges. The color is sweet - nice change from black. And very reasonable price.

My daughter had this helmet in a small from 2 years ago and we needed to get the next size up, so we bought this in a ruby color. Before she had it in Cobalt. Well this color is beautiful. IT is a very dark ruby color almost garnet colored, so not sure what it looks like on your monitor. The pads are thicker than old versions of this helmet and cheetah print. Before they were just a black thin foam. Now they are really spongy-er and plusher. Which helps with fit and cushioning. Which is a bonus for my daughter. ha!
