My husband and I bought a supposedly quiet mattress protector at Kohl's and HATED it. Our sheets slid off it, it was rustley and loud when we rolled over, and it honestly stunk (even after washing it before we first put it on our bed). I was bound and determined to find one that didn't have these issues without spending $50+, and we hit the jackpot with this one!It was surprisingly soft/cushy when I pulled it out of the box, but the texture immediately had me worried that we'd have to remake the whole bed every morning due to the sheets slipping right off. That wasn't the case at all! We haven't had a single problem with losing our fitted sheets in the middle of the night.We are both hot sleepers and don't feel that this protector makes us warmer while in bed. It doesn't feel cool or anything, but it's not like memory foam that absorbs and then gives back the heat.It doesn't sound plasticy when you roll over or slide into bed. In fact, after a few nights of use, I asked my husband how he likes it and he said, "Wait, what? You put it on already? I couldn't even tell!"It's plush & feels fancy when you run your hand over it. It does add a tiny amount of padding to the mattress - almoat a negligible amount, but not quite. I can tell it's there (just barely) and it helps make our bed feel like a soft cocoon. ☺️The awesome price coupled with the absolutely perfect fit on our mattress (it's about 12" deep) makes this one of the best purchases I've made in a long time. I am so happy with this item and will buy another when that time comes!

After remodeling our bedroom recently , We purchased a name brand mattress cover from a local chain store , after just a week we noticed the 1 purchased from the chain store was like sleepIng on a plastic trash bag , very uncomfortable and noisy , not to mention we noticed that it was very Hot ... also the Mattress Fit itself left a lot to be desired .We then saw this product on amazon and decided to try it out and , WOW what a noticeable difference almost right away , the mattress cover is very Soft , and silent , giving it a week To try it out we also noted that this product truly did what it claimed it stayed Cool And dispursed body heat very well .. The quality of this product is very very good , and I would most certainly buy it again in the future and I would highly recommend it . Ok, so I have two elderly cats. One of whom has behavioral issues from the trauma of my Gram's death (same, same, dear kitty). So when she gets mad at you for whatever percieved slight against her, she will pee on your things. Lately it has been my bed.Thank the Gods that I had the presence of mind to buy this Red Bamboo mattress protector, because otherwise my memory foam bed would be R U I N E D. Seriously, this thing is god-tier protection, and maybe one of the best purchases I ever made.Specifics:1) Durability. It seems pretty durable so far, been through three cycles of being peed on and then washed, and no breakdown of materials, pilling, staining that I can see. It's still out-of-the-box pristine.2)Effectiveness. Works like a champ. Absolutely no seepage, moisture, etc ever made it to my mattress.3)Silly crap people on here seem to moo on and on about. No, it is not noisy. If your princess and the pea, goldilocks lookin' self has a noise complaint about this, you are going to complain about all the other mattress protectors too. Get some earplugs or enjoy your jacked up stained bed.For everyone else, I'm a light sleeper, I wake up at any noise or slight change in my environment. Not once has this mattress protector made so much as a rustle.No, it doesn't have a funny smell. Well, ok, fresh out the box it does, but I let mine air out a few hours while I got the weekend chores done, put it on the bed that night, and we were good to go. Before any of you start with "oh but I'm sensitive!" No. No, you are not. My nickname was "The Hound". I have a nose so good I can detect individual ingredients in fragrances and food. I can track a human being through a building. I can tell what gender you are, and what type of perfume, shampoo, deodorant, and laundry detergent you use from a sniff.All of that to say that the complainers on here aren't that sensitive. I am, and I'm saying that the scent from this mattress cover is a non-issue.In closing, if you're looking for a frickin outstanding mattress protector to keep your expensive investment safe, get this one. Nice but not as plush as I was expecting from the description and other reviews. Nice quality though.

The item is ok, quality is good but the claim of being cooling is not supported at all. Its very warm to sleep on! and if you are trying protect your mattress and get away from night sweats, do not buy this item because it us not colling at all!!!
