Comes with hardware
This product does indeed come with the bolts and washers. Vwry heavy duty metal and the anti rust paint job on it is amazing

Did not fit my 2017 Ford explorer
It was advertise to fit all 2017 ford explorer. I am out time and money from buying this and taking it to a shop to have installed to be told it doesn't fit my 2017 ford explorer. The shop ordered a new one and this one was sent back only to find they kept half the money ($80) for a restock fee so I'm out even more money. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Shady. They kept more then half the price of the hitch that Doesn't fit my vehicle that it was advertise would fit so now I'm out more money because of false advertising of this item. This item DOES NOT fit all 2017 Ford explorer limited

Sturdy hitch, rough installation.
Hitch looks as if it will hold up just fine, if there's any issues it would be on the vehicle side of the application (thin walled box frame, factory welded nuts). The instructions I received with the hitch stated it would fit a 2011-2016 ford explorer, but info on amazon states 2011-2017. I don't believe this was an issue. I did have a fair bit of trouble getting the plate and lag bolt mounted in the frame, I wound up altering the plate just so it would go on the vehicle. The instructions were pretty lousy, but you'll figure it out if you have any mechanical experience. I plan to change up the bolt design for the rubber exhaust mounts, they should be maxing out onto something instead of just clamping the hell out of the rubber hanger (might add a sleeve and smaller hardware to better mimic what the factory design had intended, allowing some movement would add to the life of the mounts).Installation took me just over two hours, but I probably spent one hour just trying to get the single lag bolt and plate in the frame. Everything else went as expected.
