Acceptabile
It’s ok in terms of slots, but it would be better if they weren’t horizontal. Thin blades will slightly bend.

Well made and functional
Comfortably accommodated my full range of knives, kitchen scissors etc, the majority which previously had to be stored in a drawer due to the inadequate capacity of the good quality current solid timber knife block purchased in 1995. Easy wipe simple smooth sealed timber surfaces. The Shenzen knife block was approx. 30% cheaper than what appeared to be a differently badged identical block.Pleased with the functionality and stability of the product. Well packaged and delivered the next day.

Ample sized block for everything other than the longest, professional knives
This block is a simple design and has taken every knife I’ve accumulated over the years, easily. The knife slots are quite tightly spaced so if you have any that have chunky handles (our Santoku knife does for example) then it’s a little snug in places but everything fits in and it looks perfectly decent, without taking up excessive worktop space. Very happy with it.

very sturdy
looks more expensive, very sturdy, and doesn't move with the feet, however, the slots made go through to the bottom, so you have to be careful not to put a knife that is long in one of the shorter slots, to get round this I put something underneath the block, but of course you don't get the same grip.
