These are just perfect for holding card stock, envelopes, stickers, and special, high-gloss paper. Great value! Perfect size. They're sturdy and protect the contents well. The latches and lid closers function perfectly.

This was a replacement for a competing product. I'd had a clipboard-type document holder that I'd used for years. But I got tired of the metal around the clipboard area snagging and tearing other things in my backpack. I did a search and ended up with this. I'm happy with it so far.It seems sturdy. Perhaps not as sturdy as the replaced one, but sufficient.The thickness is borderline. It's almost too big, but not quite. I think it's also partially due to more-square edges rather than more-rounded.The area around the two clasps could use some more rounding. I've pinched my fingers several times.I'm used to having one clasp, instead of two clasps, and prefer that. But, in this case, it may make it more sturdy so it's OK.Two downsides. The first is the color. I much prefer that it not be see-through, like an opaque black. Sometimes I have documents that I'd rather the world didn't see when it's in the open.The second is that I wish the whole top, or bottom, would be smooth so that I can write on things without the bumps. Granted, in this case, it may make it more sturdy. And it does help in grasping it while carrying it, making it less likely to slip through my fingers.For both of those, though, I'm not docking the star rating because I could easily tell both drawbacks from the photos.So, this replaced my previous document holder. In fact, I ordered an additional set because now I'm using them to also replace my blue "accordion" style document holders.

My use case was to bring tabletop gaming materials with me on a trip and not have them get bent to pieces in the process. I wanted something fairly thin so it didn't take up gobs of space, but sturdy enough to handle bouncing around in a backpack through an international journey. They are thick enough to hold various player aid cards, a thin rulebook, and even baggies full of counters. And yet they are still thinner than many three ring binders.Worked a charm and now these are a great new organizational and storage tool I keep around!
