Q: Will it display the time without tapping it. I want a watch that will always tell me time just with a glance.

It does. I've learned that it's more in the wrist turning than in the arm raising when you bring up your arm to get the time. If the watch screen is already turned to face you (if your hands are resting on a desk for example) and you raise your arm for the time, slim chance it'll turn on but if you turn your wrist to face away from your eyes and then rotate it back to see the time, it turns on fine. It's not a dealbreaker for me so i don't mind dealing with it. It works most of the time.

Q: Is the heart rate monitor accurate when doing various exercises? (running vs hitt vs dance)

I found it to be at its worst when I needed it most: when I was doing cardio exercises (jogging, step aerobics, etc.). When my arms got sweaty, I had to cinch the strap so tightly that it was close to pinching my skin. And even then it looked as though the sweat was interfering with the accuracy of the measurement, with the heart rate jumping around from the low 100s to the 150s, sometimes in just a few seconds.

Q: I want to buy the small HR2 but a bit worried that it might look bulky on a slender ladies wrist. Ladies what is your experience?

I have tiny rectangular wrists that are 5.5in in diameter and I do not think it looks very bulky. You actually wear it slightly higher on your wrist than you would a watch to get an accurate heart rate measurement, so it looks less bulky up there. I also got it in the plum shade which gives it a more feminine look. The HR electronics do make it stand a bit high off your wrists, but it doesn't bother me that much.

Q: Does fitbit sync with myfitnesspal?

Yes it syncs steps, weight, exercises, and calories burned. When synced with MFP, MFP will sync meals and water intake to Fitbit, so you don't have to log twice.
