This is an unusual umbrella. The ribs face upward from the handle and as you open it and they come around to look like a standard umbrella. The purpose, I believe is two keep the water copped inside of the umbrella when folded so it doesn't drip all over the floor or car..The design, in this case hummingbird themed, is in the inside of the umbrella and has some vent holes. The outer layer is black so from the outside you just see a black umbrella. The handle is unusual as well, with a C-shaped handle. It's actually easier to hold which surprised me.Opens easily, large umbrella, comes with a fabric case with handle. I bought it for my mom and I think she'll love it! Made in China.

This is the best invention for an umbrella ever. I can carry it on my wrist if I have other things in my hand. I always get asked where I got this umbrella. And I love the color of the inside of the umbrella. I would definitely recommend this to someone who lives in a rainy area. However, I live in a area where there’s lots of sun, and it protects me from the sun as well. if you’re thinking about getting it, don’t think anymore. Just put it in your cart and buy it.

I purchased this because my other umbrella went missing, of course. I specifically love the inverted umbrellas because it means that my vehicle and I get less wet. I love that these have designs inside where you can see them when using the umbrella because traditional umbrellas have the design outside where you can't enjoy them in the rain. My two negatives are...1 - There is no grip material on the handle. On the one hand, I appreciate that because those can get grimy. On the other hand, I worry about what will happen when it rains and if there will be sufficient grip.2 - I love a golf-size umbrella so that I am sufficiently covered if there is wind. This is a tad smaller than I would have hoped.

This was a good buy and the colors are vibrant as shown in the picture.
