Good product. Fits well, feels good, and seems much sturdier than the first gen PS4 controller touch pads. If you got a PS4 around launch, odds are the rubber is worn and peeling off the sticks. These are put together differently and won't peel. They seem a lot like the sticks on newer models. Installation is not super-easy, but isn't difficult. It requires a very small phillips screwdriver (not included), but otherwise no particular tools or skills. You have to tear down the controller a bit to get to the sticks, so watch a youtube video of it first. As long as you don't lose any screws or small parts, you're probably not going to break anything. It is possible to dislodge the trigger contacts and end up with an unresponsive trigger, so be sure to double check that before you screw it back together. If you have a newer PS4 controller, these don't offer any kind of meaningful upgrade. They're strictly for repair. But they do the trick, and it was a lot cheaper than buying a new controller.

I couldn’t be happier with these! About a year ago the thumb sticks on both of our PS4 controls started peeling. I ordered two sets of the aluminum replacement buttons and sticks and installed them. They worked alright and I didn’t have to worry about peeling so I was happy. However my kids hated them and when they had friends over to play the didn’t like the aluminum sticks either. I decided to give these a try because the quality looked decent and the price was great. I had read other reviews about the slots not being drilled out correctly but i didn’t encounter that issue with any of the 10 sticks. They appear to be identical to factory. I will update later down the road as to their durability but for now I highly recommend them.

this product is great and works well with my controller, however, the plastic mold is slightly different from the original and is slightly bigger. Thankfully all it took was some sandpaper and it works great.

These sticks were perfect replacements to the old worn out sticks on my sons PS4 remote. My 14-year-old son was able to replace these by himself with just a small Phillips head screw driver in about 10 minutes. They came exactly as described and a great value by not having to buy a new controller since all of the rubber had worn off of the original sticks. See photos of sticks installed into the PS4 remote. Note: my son also painted the PS4 shell while he had it apart, so not an OEM color.

These things are great! I think they're a little better than the originals since the rubber is a bit tacky and has a little texture on it. They are the exact same size as the originals and fit in the controller the exact same way. Be warned, you will have to take the controller apart to put these in. That consists of a little bit of careful technical work and 4 screws. Not a big deal, I did mine in about 15 minutes. I also replaced my trigger springs while I was in there. Great product!

After buying two replacement controllers (my puppy loves to chew these analog sticks right off), I wised up and found these. They look and feel just like the originals (maybe better), and they're easy to install. I'm pretty hapless in that department, and I've successfully replaced two sets of these (seriously, my puppy is a monster). If I can do it, you can do it! Just be sure to use the right-sized screwdriver to open up your controller, as the screws are easy to strip.

At first they seemed ok, but the rubber grip wore down quickly and ended up breaking. That's when I discovered that the top part for your thumb is entirely made of rubber that's mounted on the small plastic shaft, unlike the real ones that come with the PS4 which actually have a larger plastic circle on top of the plastic shaft to support the rubber grip.
