This is such a cute set, well made and distilled to a reasonable number of items for a toddler purse. I bought this for my daughter’s second birthday, as she is constantly getting into my purse (especially for lip balm!). It is a huge hit. That the lipstick toy opens is awesome, and that’s definitely (and expectedly) her favorite item. She is constantly “applying” it. The purse itself closes just with Velcro, which I like for this age— she can do it herself. So far the other pieces are holding up to her abuse (and that of 4 older, rougher siblings) so I’m optimistic that they will continue to do so. The glasses arms are made to pop off and on. The compact opens all the way. Will definitely keep this in mind as a gift for friends.
