Q: Does it get rid of scratches ?

No, and don't use it on anything but ceramic toilet bowl. I used it on the seat and it scratched it, thank goodness I tried it on the underside of the seat so it is not immediately visible.

Q: How to clean the stone after use?

If you use this on a toilet, you ONLY use it on a toilet. The stick will wear away slowly. And you should always clean the toilet before using this item.

Q: I read that some of the stone "sheds" after using it, is that safe for Well water?

It does shed some particles of pumice stone just like pumice stone would if you were using it on your calluses. Pumice is a soft stone which naturally wears over time and use. I’m no expert but I don’t know why it wouldn’t be safe for a septic system (I’m assuming that is what you are asking since the water is flushed into the septic system not drawn up from the well) The pumice would settle to the bottom of the septic system so it probably wouldn’t leach into the drain field.

I just put the pumice stone (using the handle) in the toilet bowl and gently rub on stains. Works for me. FYI after using the stone make sure you flush toilet. I have hard water and this is the only thing that works for me.

Clean your hard water toilet stains without harsh chemicals

I bought this as a desperate attempt to clean off calcification in our apartment toilet before move out. It worked wonderfully and did not leave any scratches. It took 5-10 minutes to scrub away the discoloration on the toilet but it eventually came out with no beed of harsh chemicals.

Must buy! Worth every dollar!

Wow! This worked immediately. I was scrubbing the hard water line to no end with the toilet brush and had no luck at all. I used this with barely any pressure and it immediately cut through the line! I was actually shocked! Worth the money! Seems very durable and like it’s going to last me a while! Would recommend and will be purchasing whenever I need it. I’m going to go ahead and place an order for some family members. The handle is a nice length so you don’t have to worry about the cleanliness and getting toilet water on your hand! Handle is very sturdy and I had zero issue. Quick task because of the efficiency. Im very pleased with this purchase.

Surprisingly good!

I was somewhat skeptical that this could work but it really worked perfectly on the ring that had been around for a while. Its shape Limits exactly where it can be used effectively. But when it can it works as promised.
