Perfect for amatuers or even professionals
This is the best i have seen. I have seen the other boom arms which arereally good and expensive. This is very much as good as them or i will say even better with more functionality like the ratchet style vlamp, cable management, additional weight for the lighter equipment etc and etc. I compared the psa1 , 1plus, elgato wave arm LOW PROFILE and thishigh rise. Psa 1 and the 1 plus was expensive almost £40 in amazon. So looking at the features and the pictures i bought the elgato low profile and this high rise. I loved the low profile as well but for me being an amatuer hobbiest and i dont have a proper work station, the LP was not good for my table. And this HIGHrise was the best suited. So here we r i have the high rise. I have used it, dropped it, left the arm stretched all night and this one doesnt buzz until i make it to. This all metal vonsttuction is a sturdy, elegant is a very high quality boom arm. If this is what in mind, then the road ends up here. ELGATO WAVE ARM. If i need another one ihen i will buy this again without looking at any options available in the market.

Only get this on sale because very expensive, but possibly best Mic Arm
As we all know, Mic is short for Michael. This is the best Mic arm that you can get, and it is cheaper than some other alternatives (and of course more expensive than others) but it is definitely very high build quality and I would recommend getting this if you are willing to get one that will keep you happy for a very long time. It doesn't feel like this will break at all, and the only weird thing is how easily it moves (it spoils you a little bit after having used £15 ones before). You can hide your cables in the little rubber compartment on top, which is amazing, BUT IF IT DOESN'T GO IN, DON'T PUSH HARDER, just see if you're maybe not pushing it the other way around (one side of the rubber is slightly narrower so it fits perfectly but the other one is a pain to put in... that's how you'll know you're doing it wrong). Something to keep in mind is that if you Michael (Mic) is not heavy enough, it is spring back up, which is very confusing at first, but after watching a video online, you're supposed to put the little heavy metal piece where the microphone meets the arm (well, a bit further actually, but check the manual). This will keep that side of the arm heavy and you can let it chill in front of your face freely. Would I recommend this Microphone Arm? YES, definitely! I am extremely happy with this purchase and it looks super cool when you look at it from the side. I wasn't a huge fan of arms coming from behind my monitors, but I added the included extender (you'll receive it as well if you choose the correct option) and now it looks like a skyscraper above all of my stuff on my desk. Try it and I am pretty sure that you'll be pretty happy with this, as it is relatively well-priced but it works as if it's double the price.

Love it
Had this for over a year now and it's still going strong. 10/10 recommend. I don't constantly move my mic around but it does get moved somewhat often through the week when streaming! Very sturdy. Weights a bit but nothing dramatic. Clamp's good as well, bit bulky for my liking but I guess it needs to be to hold the weight.

Great mic stand!!
So construction is a little on the plastic side, HOWEVER, don’t let that deter you!! It looks great, works great, LOVE the extra height extension, which is particularly useful if you are using a shotgun mic, as it allows you to get it into a better position above you! Very good cable management (has like a removable rubber beading). I actually replaced the Rode PSA1+ for this and much prefer the Elgato as it’s more adjustable and actually I think looks a little better!! Stand clamps nicely to the side of the desk, so doesn’t take up lots of space. A great bit of kit and a welcome addition to my set-up

Amazing
Amazing mic arm. elgato is always to be trusted and still surprised me every item I buy with the quality. I have just bought the elgato Low Profile mic and however, as I think it looks a lot cleaner for my stream and just for my desk set up. It also reaches from under my monitors which is a lot more ideal and low profile than the wave mic arm, which can cover some of your screen or just be a bit bulky. I’m excited for the switch but will keep the wave incase I can mount my camera to it. Well done Elgato … again

The build quality is impressive!
The build quality is impressive, with a sturdy and premium feel that ensures durability. The boom arm is very flexible and easy to adjust, allowing me to position my microphone perfectly for both recording and streaming. One of the standout features is its cable management system, which keeps my workspace neat and organized. The arm’s sleek design and smooth movement make it a pleasure to use. It holds my microphone securely without any wobbling.

These are amazing boom arms with excellent build quality
The build quality of this product is truly impressive. For the price, it’s hard to find a comparable alternative. It’s worth noting that this product outshines the Low Profile Arm from Elgato in every way. Frankly, Elgato’s Low Profile Arm is so poorly designed that it’s not worth keeping. I even reached out to Elgato to address the issues with their Low Profile Arm, but their response was disappointing. They treated my feedback as a simple repair ticket and showed no genuine interest in resolving the underlying quality concerns. This experience has left me reluctant to purchase anything else from them due to their lackluster aftersales support.

This is the only Mic arm you'll need.
TLDR. Owed 4 mic arms in total, 3 were PSA R0DE - this ones is mikes better in quality an features compared to R0DE with the same price point. Tangent below. I've gone through a few mic arms now. Using an AT2035, I first had a £20 one, unbranded, it was loud and clanky but it did the job, until the point which connected to the table mount ended bending and cracking. Replaced it with the R0DE PSA - 3 of them. Rode had lots of issues, first was grinding and grinded the paint off where the metal peices met, returned, that one also did the same thing after 2 days of use. Sent it back, bought one off Scan UK, lasted a few months before doing the same thing as the others, and eventually would not stay down. Stuck with my mic up above me and it stayed that way for a year. Then, this mic arm appeared on my youtube feed, instant purchase, and it by far the best mic arm I have ever owned. And with it I treated myself to a new microphone. Now reliability is to be seen, but having a wire compartment, the uniqute ball and swivel mechanic where the mic sits, the raiser, the counterweight for lighter microphones should you need it, this all makes for one unique mic arm, which at this current time I cannot complain about.
