No, you can't put any part of the soda maker, bottle, or CO2 cylinder in the dishwasher. The only exception is our new stainless steel bottle, ADD917SST, which is dishwasher safe and available for purchase separately.

Q: Can I fill the soda maker with a sweetened drink?

No, you cannot carbonate sweetened, mixed, or hot drinks with the soda maker.

Q: Why should I use replaceable CO2 cylinders and how long do they last?

Replaceable CO2 cylinders can carbonate up to 60 liters of water, depending on usage. They help reduce waste, save money, and avoid up to a thousand disposable plastic bottles per year.

Q: How do I make the water more or less bubbly?

With manual soda makers, you control the bubbles by the number and length of button presses. Press once for lightly sparkling, twice for medium, and three times for strong sparkling.You can find your preferred level of bubbles after a few uses.

Q: Are Philips CO2 cylinders compatible with other soda makers?

Yes, Philips CO2 cylinders are compatible with soda makers from other brands, such as Sodastream. However, for the best performance and safety, we recommend using only original Philips CO2 cylinders.
