Grip-N-Rip Magnum Bat Taper

I purchased because I'm a large male to usually wears XL batting gloves, so I thought this would better. I don't know how much bigger this is than a regular Grip-n-Rip, but it is large. Took a few minutes to install (put bat in cold water, grip-n-rip in cold water, then worked the thing in with a lot of manual force. Luckily I'm strong, but it did take quite a bit of effort). Took a minute to get accustomed to. But used it in a game, and I have to say, the added leverage with the bottom half worked great. I got a home run in my second at-bat (my first was a walk)!!! I can see me driving a lot more home runs this season because of the added leverage. Maybe next time I'll get a regular version for my other bats. But this thing does what it says it does: fills up the space at the bottom of the bat and adds leverage. And added leverage + a good wrist snap = more power!!! This is a good purchase for me.

The only part that I didn't like was it was difficult to get on the bat. However, I followed the steps from previous buyers and was able to get it on the end of the bat. I use it on a practice bat and it offers balance and leverage for my needs.

This grip is tough to get on but, I love it! Since I like to hang my pinky off the end of my bat the palm of my hand gets bruised from the bat knob after many swings but, not anymore! I think the grip feels great along with some padded bat tape.

This was pretty easy to get on with Windex and boy am I happy I got it. Definitely makes the knob way more comfortable especially if you hang your pinky off the end. I highly recommend

I have been a user of their regular grips for many years. I thought I'd give this one a try and unfortunately they are not as good. My bats have the standard sized knobs and these Magnum grips are too loose on the bottom. There is way to much play between the grip and the knob. I wish they would have hugged the knob better.

Used for younger & older kids! Was very durable!

If you drop any fingers off the bat, this is the cuff for you. The end of this taper covers the entire knob instead of butting up to it like the smaller one. Definitely bigger than the small ones so if you have baby hands, I wouldn't suggest this at all. I used to hate these things, but now I've swung them for two years and I can't stand a bat without them! Use hand soap or hand sanitizer to help slide this on. Hand sanitizer dissolves and you don't even have to wipe it off (you're welcome).

Makes holding the bat very comfortable at the end. Takes a little effort to get it on, but fits perfectly on the handle.

Takes some getting used to. But seems to help, and cuts down on the sting when you don’t get the sweet spot
